88-91 CRX DX idle surge fixed!!!!!
What's going on RUclipsrs. If you own a 88-91 CRX DX with the factory D15B2 engine and have that annoying idle surge, this may fix your problem. Before u start, make sure that you have exhausted all other options and troubleshooting as I did. Don't ever just throw parts at a problem because you'll be even more frustrated by losing money in the process. I paid absolutely nothing to fix this in parts and it only took about 15 minutes to do. If you rather change the throttle body completely please feel free to do that. Hope this helps anyone else out there with this problem and PLEASE feel free to leave any comments or questions you may have.

This helped alot but olny issue i do get is when go pas 3k rpm sometimes it idles to 1500 and seems like brakes wanna give out ik it can be the brake booster but and i also changed the ctemp cable and made car run kinda better but i think it needed time to adjust
Gd job bro but is better to put a Weber carb manual choke 32/36 big difference more torquie and fast with a a6 cam ok
Bro i just fixed my 88 civic dx by doing this! Loosened it maybe 25°. This saved me hundreds of dollars and time, i know it means very little but i cant thank you enough.
Even 10 years later and it is still useful. batta bing batta boom

I need sum help i got a 90 crx and when driving the rpms jumps up and down crazy it goes away then comes back what do i do
So that fast idle valve is not needed? I see he got it off
This fixed my surging idle issue but now under throttle it bounces - anyone have a similar issue?

Wow! EXCELLENT video! My 1990 Honda Civic 'D15B2' can be driven again! I had already spent $750 with a shop attempting to resolve the issue (IACV, etc.). A half turn of a nut was all it took! Thank you so much!

OMG I knew it I'm having the same issue with my 2005 accord and was thinking it was that screw on the side. I'm a woman doing my own car with surging problems. Thank you for this video. Thanks D...and I Liked your video. Im just shit ass upset, that my idle on my 89' Honda CRX SI has jumped up high yesterday AFTER the prior weekending they put in new Belts and Alternator to my ride. And I dont want to take it back to the mechanics of that prior week ----cause they mentioned Distributor replacement possbility when they troubleshooting my installed new Belts and Alternator. My Distributor was SUPER fine before I went in. I know it's that lil adj in your video I need help on. Gonna try myself to bring it down ----so that I can drive it somewhere else.

am having issues with my 91 staying on I just replaced the fuel filter rotary button main rely.engin spins but turns off wont stay on

88 civic wagon. Fixed "Update, it kinda does the same thing, but less agrees I've still revs above 1k. What i do now is when I turn it on i just pull the gas pedal towards me, and then it fix"
