Similar! it's less specific on reps, and more directed towards intensity. Looking to take the muscle to failure twice back to back w/minimal rest
@@StrategicTrevor I thought it was wise versa. Rest pause specific for example 3 snatches 1 min pause and then again and again. Myoreps exactly how you described just wait until burn pass through and hit again. At least that was in my head for some reason

Great video, What about leaning into or away from the machine though? does it matter so much as it does with dumbells?
The cable actually prevents you from having to lean into or away from. Because it's pulling horizontally, the tension is all on the delt. W/ a dumbbell it's pulling straight down, and you have to manipulate your body to try to get the horizontal pull.
It looks likes like allostatic load might be what causes shingles. I think it led to my burnout and then to fatigue. At that point to exhaustion and then it built to where it was beyond repair😢
That's correct! Too much stimulus brings out all kinds of things - the immune system is dipped. Taking a minute to focus on stress reduction goes a long way!

These are not good exercises choices for people who are having problems with their glute medius and minimus.
Love this exercise. I’ll try putting the seat back more see how that feels

I can't even get my minimus or medius activated... if I do any exercises I just compensate with TFL or piriformus.... help
Bro, there are 3 types of grip How yo use straps on all three grips. My straps are being delivered soon anytime now.
The point of straps is to keep a double overhand grip, you won't have to use a mixed or hook grip. This prevents having one pronated, and one supinated hand, and there's no need for using a hook grip. The focus is then completely on the target muscle

Thanks! Never realised the minimus might be the problem for my stability. Abducting makes them cramp up immediately and I feel really weak doing bulgarian split squats.

Great vid! The tempo of the vid is a bit slow tho, and coupled with no visual attention grab makes it much more likely for ppl to scroll past, ofc making every thing snappy and eye grabby can make content feel very cheap/rushed/uncaring, so there is a balance to find, between getting and keeping attention and providong factual, caring content. Always makes me shake my head when I see guys wearing them the whole workout without ever adjusting it. And they’re usually doing arms. Oh well….
