@@donnettemclish3871 I’m glad you’ve been encouraged. Thanks for your kind words.
Hello citizen, thank you for your videos. How much did your wall coping cost please..
@@kwadwokwadwo158 Hello dear. Purchased Wawa Boards and Carpentry cost was Ghc2000. 7 bags of cement were used together with quarry dust. Masonry cost was part of the total cost of the wall construction . I hope this helps you. Thanks for being a part of my building journey 🙏🏽
Thanks for quick response I really appreciate that. Am about to do my wall coping and this will help with my budgeting. God bless you for taking your time to help others.
@@kwadwokwadwo158 You are most welcome bro. All the best with your project.
Whats your total cost including labour for the first phase of the plumbing works?

Is this project in Kumasi?

Nice work .. Can you start drilling borehole if you have not done your electrical work in the house ?
@@greatandycole Sure you can and that’s exactly what I did. All you need is a generator if you happen not to have electricity available on site.

Does the Bitumen not go on the block work directly. Basically before plastering?
@@nancytrue7415 Yes,technically the best way to apply it.That’s why we dug more farther to reach the foundation block but then it works on already plastered walls as well. Thanks for your comment dear.
Can i have your number?
Pls can you share the information of the gentleman who did your stone cladding.? Thanks
@@jacquelinenkansah4384 His number has been out of service for some time now. I’ve tried several times to get in contact with him but to no avail. Would have loved to share with you dear.

Hi, is your project in Kumasi or Ashanti Region? would he be open to do similar process at my site? I found that this process is close to a better solution for me. I did not do any damp proofing from foundation.
@@Kofi513 Hello dear, yes my project is in Kumasi and he would be able to work on the treatment for you if you are able to make the Dry Rod available. This is his contact info, you can reach out to him on ( Baidu K +233 24 847 0723) and I’ll be glad to help with any questions you may have. Thanks
Boss may I know the reason for painting lower level walls black
@@animkwame2956 The paint is a waterproof bitumen solution that protects the base of the house from moisture thereby reducing and or preventing it from wall dampness. I hope my answer helps and thanks for your question.

It’s actually 45 feet😁. This I know for sure.
Good morning - Just to let you know that I really like your integrity and the way you've laid out your working cost so precisely. In my spirit I feel you're a man of the Most High God... When were these materials bought please - 2024 ??? As I would like to know if it's current prices being quoted so I can count my cost before starting
These materials were all purchased in June 2024. I’m not too sure of the price at the moment but yea, this could help you budget around how much I spent. I hope this helps and thanks for your question. Feel free to ask questions if any.
Don't make that mistakes again by paying artisans in full give them half and when the work is done u pay the rest
That’s a lesson well learned. Thanks for the advice 🤝
Hello bro, how did the achieve those line in the plastering.did the used a special tool?
@@Boapples52567 Hello dear, the lines in the plastering were achieved by using just the wooden hand float. No special tool was used other than the above mentioned. It actually requires patience and skill to achieve those sequence. I hope this helps. Thank you 🙏🏽
Thanks a lot
@Boapples52567 You’re most welcome.
The black color on the down of the wall what’s it purposes please
@@Kwesiprince31 It’s waterproof bitumen that protects the base of the wall from dampness.
@@CITIZEN_ANDOH how much it cost and u do it after plastering or
@@Kwesiprince31 A bucket costs Ghs800 as at the time and I purchased 2 buckets. I have all the details in my Episode 34. If you haven’t plastered yet,I’ll suggest you do the bitumen painting on the blocks first before painting but it works as well if you’re done with the plastering

We found out that they missed out dampproofing for the foundation. We're now hesitating on thebplastring phase. Do you recommend these rods with water resistant cement / plaster for the lower portions of the house? Blessings to you.
I would suggest you coat/paint the base of the building with bitumen, both inside and outside and plaster that portion with water resistant cement. You can also use the rods which is scientifically proven to work perfectly in the UK and plaster over it with water resistant cement. I hope this helps. Please don’t hesitate to ask questions. Thanks
well done, but poor capturing video

Thank you Mr Andoh❤. I like the part you mentioned “ don’t let the negative perceptions/experiences of others on building in Ghana influence a decision to build in Ghana” I am very grateful I subscribed to your channel,Mr Andoh🙏🏾 I am also thankful to Mr Baidu too🙏🏾

Great Job done Citizen.
@@Kanters360 Thank you.Well appreciated 🙏🏽
Don’t you need electricity to pump the water. How do u connect the pump to power when u have not built the house and have electricity?
You certainly need electricity to pump the water. You can use generator in the absence of electricity and that’s exactly what we’re doing at the moment. I hope this helps you and thanks for your comment 🤝
Great progress. Congrats
@@4EverHome Thank you so much for the compliment. I really do appreciate it.
Wats your reason for plastering the exterior rough.
@@senarambo3341 Better Adhesion: A rough surface provides better adhesion for the subsequent layers of paint or other finishing materials. The rough texture allows the material to grip onto the surface more effectively, reducing the chances of peeling or flaking. Water Resistance: A rough finish can help improve the water resistance of the wall. The irregular surface can help prevent water from penetrating the plaster and reaching the underlying structure, thus protecting the building from water damage. Aesthetics: A rough finish is desired for its aesthetic appeal. It can add texture and character to the exterior of the building, giving it a more natural or traditional look. Durability: Rough plaster can be more durable and resistant to wear and tear compared to a smooth finish. It can better withstand the elements and environmental factors, prolonging the life of the external wall. I hope this helps and thanks for your comment🙏🏽
You making progress ......God job 👍🏾
Thank you Gigo.I do appreciate your compliment😁
Which cement is good for plastering and how many wheelbarrow for 2bags interms of plastering pls
@@isaacappiah3645 You can use 30.5R of any brand of cement your choice and the cement to sand ratio is 1:2 Meaning 1 bag of cement to 2 wheel barrows of sand ,therefore 2 Bags of cement is to 4 wheel barrows of sand. I hope this helps you and thanks for your comment 🙏🏽

Good work done
@@FrancisPakar Thank you Wise🙏🏽
congrats Citizen Andoh💐! i like how you indicated taking time thinking through the option of septic tank and biodigester. your reason for your choice is very worthy😍 i would like to ask why three chambers instead of two or 1?
@@rubyamanda9009Thanks Ruby for the compliment. A 3-chamber septic tank improves treatment efficiency: The additional chamber provides more time for waste treatment, leading to higher effluent quality. It also increases solids separation: The third chamber enhances solids settlement and separation, reducing the likelihood of clogging and system failure. It better handles peak flows: The third chamber provides additional buffer capacity, helping to manage high flow events and prevent system overloads.
please is there any other chemical mixed with morta
No chemicals needed for this very particular process with the Dry Rod. The rod contains all the needed chemicals. Thanks for your comment dear.
