    Looks good. I know the door is most likely very lightweight, but wouldn't it still need a brace, to stop it sagging over time? Especially with only the two hinges? Also, did you add any ventilation? I can imagine it getting quite damp over the winter and causing mold issues inside?

    I hope that hole it's blocking is just a basement window and not crawlspace access. 😳

    • @Slaterandson
      @Slaterandson Год назад

      In northeastern United States, most houses have basements, this shed is on a non permanent foundation and can be loaded easily onto a trailer and moved. Typically a crawlspace wouldn’t have a window only able to be opened from the inside haha. Thanks for the comment

    What was the siding that you used for the shed

    • @Slaterandson
      @Slaterandson Год назад

      I believe they call it t 111, it’s also called engineered plywood, big box stores sell it, although a lot more money than it used to be in 2019

    I like this design. Does the ground need to be up on blocks

    • @Slaterandson
      @Slaterandson Год назад

      Thank you! I put it on blocks and elevated off the ground in hopes to keep rot from happening. Also used pressure treated lumber for the joists and 4x4 runners underneath, might need to check local code for sheds as well.

    Did you use a Brad nailer or framing gun. Couldn’t exactly tell

    • @Slaterandson
      @Slaterandson Год назад

      For the outside trim I used a Dewalt brad nailer I have, the rest of it I used torx screws so that I could put it on a trailer and move it some day.

      Thanks for the quick response. Oh alright. I’m rebuilding one tomorrow & I was going to use a framing gun for the siding panels. That should be fine

    • @Slaterandson
      @Slaterandson Год назад

      No problem! Just watch the t-11 or whatever width you use, the outer layer is a softer than plywood it seems for a nail gun I noticed. Take care!
