I haven't played since my last Manor Lords upload, so with the recent patches it might've changed but there was a problem with the start camp causing approval debuffs even if you had enough houses built. Alternatively the houses might not be getting built quick enough. I found on max difficulty settings that even being a few seconds too slow is very punishing, but that partly depended on walking distances for gathering resources too, so trying to build everything relatively close together helps even if you have to move away from your start location. Hope that helps!

It's probably the time I'm using, I noticed the homeless debuff, and then without any church debuff added it was enough to not manage to continue the game, and I haven't tried challenging since. @@elvenkind6072 You're welcome Alv! Yes the game can be very punishing very quickly on higher difficulties, but it feels great when things fall in the right place. I will revisit Manor Lords sometime in the future after some more updates. Thanks alot for subscribing, I appreciate that!
