You don't have to tape up the ground. It's a ground, it can touch and rub any piece of metal it can and nothing is going ta happen. It's the positive that leads to problems.

I only just found this vid...this might be my one of my faves....that is a crazy tight trail. The way the jeep just rolls through that stuff puts the tacoma to shame

@@Forbiddenoffroad yep, I’ll give it a try. I’m fully modified, full OX Lockers, 4.88’s, Teralow 4:1, and Mickey Thompson Baja 35’s. Dana 44 front and rear. Enjoyed the video!

@@UnwindingRoads honestly I think it did. All the electrical grimlins went away and she basically worked perfect. The other thing we did which I didn't show is drain the water out of the separator, she was full and the motor would fire up but switch off right away

Just do an genesis dual battery setup. That's what I did. Will never look back

@Forbiddenoffroad I have all accessories running off the second battery like winch, light's, cooler refrigerator. It has an auto switch that connects them for starting and charging batteries. You can jump start yourself if you ever need to. Both batteries are up top easy to change when you have one go bad.
Broncos are all fun N games till articulation is needed, Even with that said Im really happy to see Ford have a real jeep competitor And on top of that its got Ford Reliability so that's also a plus!

But it was also stock. Add some coilovers and 37's and it's a whole other ball game. His is also a 4 cyl man with higher gear ratio. 😅

I believe the wheelbase of the Bronco was the only reason it didn't make it up the rock but other than that it did pretty good.

The old M211. I grew up around these trucks being an army brat and later owning a couple. The front axle is a reverse rotation which worked with the original transmission/transfer system. A lot of folks would reinstall the old transfer case back in and since the axles are low geared it seem to do okay. The old brake system was air over hydraulic; air booster, that's the thing on the side of the frame under the cab. Using a modern brake booster should work, the larger the bore and booster the better. Too bad the dash is missing. Enjoy your new toy

Now to delete some rear leaf springs to make the ride softer and remove some weight
@@equestrianalways6132 good idea! eventually I want to change the rear leafs out for something longer like from a 1 ton chevy, fronts will likely go coils or even coilovers but that's way down the road.
