I use to raised Pigeons when i was a kid. I had Homing Pigeons, i also had fancy looking Pigeons. ( Tumbler Pigeons) I would take some of my Homing Pigeons 60 miles away from home, by the time i was home, they were all home waiting for me to feed them. I'm now 57 years old with good memories.

Can anyone help my 15 year Old lad wants to start racing pigeons we have a loft ready he was helping his great grandfather until he gave up 2 year ago and he really did enjoy it he's looking for good sprint pigeons we are struggling to get advice or birds local as the fanciers don't want the competition around here so all help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Great man I started at eleven yrs old with a pair of wood pigeons eventually my father bought me two pairs of racing pigeons .... I was hooked now my sons keeps racing birds

Excellent video did u know Joe Howe and norman Taylor son from boldon colliery Joe was my uncle I used to stay there Friday night then race whips sat morning then go and wait for pigeons I was 12 then 58 now I loved it best of luck to u
