Basic Training at Fort Moore, Georgia (Jan 20-Jun 22, 2023)
This video is from my time at basic with Charlie Company 3-54, the most memorable six months of my life as I underwent Infantry OSUT. Let it be known this video does not reflect the views of the DoD, the United States Army, and the United States of America as a whole.

Wow I trained in Fort Benning back in the early 80's and it seems to me the training has gone a little soft, where are all Drill Sergeant screaming and pushing their men to perform and do better.

When someone there says I'm I'm 307 barracks what's that mean is 307 like a huge string of a barrack with lots of soldiers or is 307 a few guys? Would people be able to locate a specific person with just that info?

‘95 B Co 1/38 4th Platoon… we were under TOTAL CONTROL until the last week. There was a LOT more yelling… and a LOT more fun! Had a couple dirtbag privates get snatched up by DS’s. I was REAL close to being one of them. And, I had no idea what I did! 😂

No yelling from Drills wearing standard headgear. Went through Benning many years ago. TF is this?? Only time I ever remember Drills in standard headgear was FTX.
I thought it was a good idea of re-upping to be infantry until I saw this.

Alpha-6-1 June to September 1983. At the Sand Hilton. Cohort unit. Ft Benning then straight to Panzer Kaserne, Boeblingen, West Germany. Basic and AIT was a blast!

It’s probably harder than it looks. It’s easy to judge behind a screen. These courses are designed to make you exhausted.
Allways wanted to be in the national guard since I was a kid but after seeing this it's like I don't want to anymore there waaaay to soft I wish there was a way where u can request to have it back to the way it was

My SIT laughs about drill sergeant being more mean than he thought would be. In good sports. But another SIT got mad he runs faster and intentionally tripped him. Now he has a knee injury. The back of knee and it’s buckling. Doesn’t sound good. Pretty pissed. So much for being “comrades”. Should save that crap for the enemies.

as a bigger guy who is in the process of enlisting, it makes me feel good to see some other dudes my size getting it done!
I was in infantry OSUT there about 15 years ago. We had one bigger guy in my platoon that lost so much weight that by the end his family didn't recognize him at first when they came for graduation. That being said, the better shape you are in when you first go in the better off you are going to be when you get there.
