Where can I get one of those I really like it
What type of wheels & hinges did you use to complete this?
Hey, I’m in the process of doing something similar, what is the depth of that bookcase, and what was the spacing needed to allow for the swing? Looks fantastic btw! Completely hidden!
What type of hinges did you use for the toekick
How to hide from the FBI.
Have done similar ones before. Nicely done!
Too bad you couldn't hide in it..the bottom flaps will give you away. But i do love the design.
Super bad.....💯🔥
Now is not secret 😅😢😢😢
PUT THE CANDLE BACK!
y quien baja la tapa si me quiero esconder?
How much is the gap between the 2 doors and another carcass?
What is it made of and what is that beautiful finish/colour on it? Why do you need to lift the kick board up?
Can you show where you've placed hinges?
VERY amazing job! ++
No close captions that sucks
I wonder if you could install a pocket door inside of the moving book shelf and have it make a room lol.
Building one at my new house construction, got questions 1. How to ensure you can't get locked inside? 2. Any ideas for a way that you can make the doors swing inward to open up the entire space more
I think when he was opening the door I saw a wire behind the shelf that connects the book to whatever it slides into on top. So I think you could just pull the wire down. But, I'd love to see more details behind how that all works.
After watching the poop add, my brain is exploding.
Lol at the negative comments about the kicks staying up. Maybe I missed it, but I didn't hear "panic room" being mentioned. Perhaps it's just a "secret room" as the title says, for valuables, guns, whatever... The home owner goes in, does his business, comes out and closes everything up. Jeez. Great design and well executed. Hopefully the wheels don't end up leaving marks 😁
Do you have construction plans for this?
Beautiful!
GREAT IDEA!
Great job on the build and video. Thanks for sharing it. I have some questions about the hinge system and latches. I saw your link for the Murphy door hinges, but wonder if there is some sort of formula/"trick" for determining the best placement for the hinge pivot point with this type setup? I know that the depth of the shelves. span of the opening, type of hinge, and direction of door swing all have important roles in determining the exact placement of the pivot point but I don't know just how to go about figuring that out. Can you provide some insight for that, please? I'm in the beginning stages of attempting to build a book case with three sections (really, a whole lot like yours, only without the second hinged door) that will take up an entire wall of my small office. The center section will be a door that MUST swing outward (as yours does) and will provide entry into closet/supplies space. Also, what type/manufacture model did you use for those "kick-spring" latches at the bottom of the doors? A link for those would be great help too. Thanks again for the video of the fantastic project.
What is the gap between the 2 bookshelves as im thinking if we roll out the first bookshelf it will catch the other side if its too close. Really like your design and the wheels incorporated too
would it be possible instead of those 2 swing out cabinets/doors in the middle to open, could both swing out the same direction as 1 big wall portion? I want an entertainment center wall with tv and speakers to swing open/out and reveal a wardrobe behind it.
Terrible design
would be a great panic or hide-a-way room if it weren't for the fold up molding at the bottom
It's giving me Dexter's laboratory vibes. Love it!
Exactly what America needs!
They should close win u close it
Well constructed, but not sure, I would like to be the one, drawing the short straw, to be left on the outside, to replace the " toe kicks" back down.
The Hiram Key... very clever! ;)
What do I think? I think this is amazing!
A demo with shelves loaded with books would be more helpful. (I'm guessing hardware needs to be WAY BEEFED UP. Flip-up thing seams clumsy
Nice job what did you use for hinges I'm bluid a 30 x96 panty door with 6 in shelves on the inside but not sure what to do for the hinges any suggestions thanks
So what about the bottom part that's lifted up the kicker? Someone will look at that and know something suspicious?
I what to do this … very well done..
Great job, what hardware do you recommend & are the wheels set at an angle for the arc opening swing?
I wish you would’ve shown the hinges
Very good now reinforce the hinges add more wheels for the support of the weight of the sandbags that you're going to add along with security monitors mini cameras on the outside three 12-volt batteries power inverter three cases of water 2 empty 5gal buckets with lids one five gallon bucket filled with kitty litter and lastly a 12-volt DVD player with headphones
What hardware (hinges) did you use ? Invisidoor?
Good work 💪👷
I like you ♥

Perfect just what I needed to see what a good idea with the flip up as the outs wing one I've got to make has a unlevel floor so perfect thanks so much
Hmm the wheels will leave Marks on the floor and you can see when someone is in the room
Could this become a in-law suite?
I think I'll do it myself this week. I just got instructions from Woodglut and I'm ready for it: D
