wow shes got that long run towards the end and that growl and vibrato, simply amazing! Beyonce and Mariah or Christina never close to Jessicas caliber at this age. Not even today now that Jessica is 17 years old going 18 soon.. Jessica is a world icon!

Jessica has never had any voice training at all. She won a scholarship to a Performing art school, but who knows if she went? Nobody!!

As I said, she trained at a performing arts school called School of Pop. She used to have vids of her performing at that school. Her talent is natural nonetheless. She certainly hadn't had any training prior to that.

She did not have any vocal training. She has said that numerous times.

How old is she here? Most girls this age would be playing with dolls not singing, this is way beyond her years, so much talent in a girl so young.

Some people in the music industry do not like reality TV stars because they do not think they have paid their dues, but this is not the case with JS as she as been pushing her hole life, everybody can see this through the many vids that she as posted on YT & the many events she as attended. I think people in the music industry have recognized this. if not for AI then it would have only been a matter of time before this JS came to the worlds attention. AI only gave that a timely boost.

No one as the perfect voice from the start, but you could tell even from that early age how good she was and how much potential she had (Jessica Sanchez as never had a singling lesson), through hard work she as now refined many elements of her voice and she will continue to do that through out her career.

Jessica Sanchez should have won (American Idol season 11) instead of Phillip Phillips. She is also the real winner of America's Got Talent season 1 (move over Bianca Ryan). She did not take voice lessons prior to her time on American Idol. She can sing this song better than American Idol season 12's Angie Miller.
