I was driving old freightliner with N14 Select Plus, that seemed to have fuel starvation problems, no acceleration. So cleaned Pump Fuel Filter ( 9/16 wrench ) was better. Then removed this Fuel check valve near upper right corner of ECM box. 1 1/16 wrench. Took apart and found a piece of rubber wrapped around the several holes in the fuel check value and blocking the flow of fuel through this check valve. Never seen this, with out removing and taking apart to visually inspect and clean. Runs much better now. Thanks for this video here. Hey question, my truck is taking forever to start (d13) and it stays misfiring. I got some bubbles in the tank. But her i open the the priming pump it came lose. Do you think its soaking air ? Or my problem is injectors and cups?

Is there a way to relieve fuel pressure in the system? I am having trouble removing the fuel filter that screws into that housing. I believe it to be pressure related.

BEst idea ever, BTW, do u happen to have d part number for the fuel filter base.?,,,,,,also, wouldn't it be better to just ignore the original check valve and I Install a new check valve right after the fuel filter?, oops, great job and thank you

have you had much experience on the mvs governor type pump . i have a fuel leak under the pump and was wondering about the o-ring i think but not sure of the assembly. i beleave this s where the magnetic filter could be and does the pump need to be removed to access the unit.
