    Let's talk setup. It looks like you have a serious understeer if you overcharge at all, but you also have bad traction. That's only on the first couple laps. It's just a cold tire push. After that, it's all front end, but you still have the bad traction. Any time you ask more of the front mid-corner, you have to chase the tail. Soften the rear spring/bar package until you can put power down and then add rake if you need to rebalance. Good Race!

    • @BainRacing134
      @BainRacing134 Год назад

      Part of it was cold tire push, 51* and Cloudy according to the notes. The other issue is I've never set bump steer on the car and I know it's waaaay off. Also, Toyo RRs will scream a bit before they're actually sliding. Traction is usually good except for over the hill into Thunder Valley. Part of that is running 2nd gear and overpowering the tires, but I was extra down on power this year. So, I was trying to get all the acceleration I could and ended up overdriving the car in certain places. In 2018 they raised the minimum weight to 2900lbs and the tired ol' 305 was only making about 300whp. I could have made 325whp, that's why I get yanked down the straights until his tires go off. Setup is usually a compromise and this is a 2900lb car with 56% front. It's easy to drive the front tires off unless it's setup loose and sprint races aren't long enough to wait for them to come back. I don't mind correcting with the wheel as long as I don't have to lift.

  • @MrTL3wis
    @MrTL3wis Год назад

    That thing handles great down the straights.

    Ouch, I've had these splits "fingertip fissures" and I use lotion religiously, like compulsively, all the time - and I still get these goddam splits. I've had them perpetually for over a year, maybe they've healed for three or four days when I've had time off work, but they seem to come back almost instantly. Okay so on another video about this painful phenomenon someone in the replies mentioned that this is actually caused by some weird fungus, and the cure is Tinactin - he said clip your nails down (but not too far!), hit em with Tinactin, then superglue, and at last some Lo'Shun. So this is the route I'm going to take, the store was out of tanakton so I got some "jock itch creme" and I'm hoping that this works, these splits aren't even that deep but GOOD GRIEF they are so freaking painful, I happily decline and return the curse whomever would wish this upon me...with interest 😂! But yeah, the superglue seems to seal these bad boys right up!

    Them things don't reach its peak torque output until about 15 or 20 seconds of hammering so if your trying to loosen something don't give up after 5 or 10 seconds, keep going for at least 30 seconds before you give up

    Old school mechanic here, you might wanna spray some DW-40 on those bolts and let it sit for a couple of minutes, then unscrew. Less stress on the impact gun, works for me every time, bolts comes right off like nothing. But hay thats just my opinion. Cool review though 😊👍

    Батарейка на 2А слабая для него. Я сначала использовал АКБ на 4А, потом собрал АКБ на 8А, заметная прибавка в мощности. Колесные гайки раньше проходил подтягивал воротком, сейчас уже не требуется. Ещё на каждом соединении и удлинителе теряется ударный момент. Хороший инструмент

    I loved the 894 until I recently did my rear brakes on my 06 Sierra Denali. I need the big brother... Great tool but was a bit disappointed it wouldn't handle the caliper bolts or even my lug nuts, that I believe the tire shop over tightened.

      Im looking for a tool exactly for this pourpose. The caliper bolts. Why do they always feel the hardest to take off compared to anything else? When working on jack stands there's almost no way to position yourself so you wont break yourself loosing up these bolts with regular wrenches and using such immense strength that will tear your muscles.

    • @lanceforney5321
      @lanceforney5321 2 года назад

      @@stefanhoffmann8417 the front bolts require a large torque bit. Pain in the butt to remove. I use a long 1/2" drive breaker bar, and a pipe when necessary.

      What you guys need is a small torch, the ones where they use to make fondue deserts. What i do, and works super well is this. Spray PB blaster on bolts, let it soak a minute or two. Grab my torch and warm it up for a minute or two, you wanna warm up behind the bolt and on the sides. Once you feel its warm enough, smack on the impact and its gonna zip right off like butter. Torch flames are your best friend with impacts.
