6.5 is not in the same category as a 308 .308 hit much harder than a 6.5.308 bullet are 120-180 grains 6.5mm100-140.grain.Yes i agree .

I just punched the MgMicro in 308. I will be using it suppressed. I haven't shot it yet but i'm loving the feel of the Micro. I also had the Mg light and I absoluty loved it . I traded it for the micro .

Why isn't the creedmoor compared to similarly sized 260 or 264 more often? Everybody knows the 308 ballistics and its not known to be flat. It's like a teenager challenging a chubby middle aged guy to a race. I'm not knocking either round they are both great!

Wrong. The 308 is not the cartridge for shooting heavy bullets.

Different calibers and different guns for different purposes. Consider well exactly what you want to do-whether that be singular or plural-and then do your research in light of that. All the comments making this an abstract either/or dilemma are as ridiculous as would be an artist making arguments for one color being better than another, or a particular size of paintbrush being better than another, or a particular size of canvas being better than another.

The .308 simply does not out perform the 6.5 Creedmoor at longer ranges. Example: Hornady .308 178 gr ELD-X versus 6.5 Creedmoor 143 gr ELD-X @ 500 yards. the .308 is 1868 fps with 1379 lb-ft and drops -50.2" the 6.5 CM is 2025 fps with 1302 lb-ft and drops -44.5" Based on energy alone, I would personally consider both cartridges maxed out at 500 yards for deer sized game, and I see no real advantage with the .308 performance wise. As stated in the video, game hit with these bullets at these ranges will not know the difference.

Don’t think the 7prc will ever compete with the 7 rem. Mag and it’s only half the gun the 28 nosler is, just another round to fade out!!!!

The other two that I really like and wish were available in left are the Squared Crest and HMR Carbon Wilderness

What if my bolt shroud does not rotate until it clicks. It does jot want to slide back and rotate over fully. It is stuck in fire. I believe if I can get it into firing position it will go in but as I said it will not
