    唐婆婆以前练过其它气功。在法轮功被迫害后，唐婆婆曾被派出所警察当作法轮功学员非法关押了一个月。 九年前，成都一位法轮功学员给她讲了法轮功的真相，她爽快地退出了她曾经加入过的中共及其附属组织。后来碰到我，跟我说，她担心答应帮她三退的法轮功学员忘记给她退，要我再给她退一次。我听了很高兴，知道她是真正明白了真相，诚心诚意要退出中共邪党的，我请她放心，说那位法轮功学员一定会给她退的。 后来唐婆婆在火车上又遇到了一位法轮功学员，这位法轮功学员给了她一本书《九评共产党》。 唐婆婆回家仔细读后说：“《九评共产党》写的太好了！”她又传给了她的好朋友读，并劝朋友三退（退出中共党、团、队）。一次在街上碰到我，很着急地说：“我这里有十多个人的三退名单，正不知交给谁呢。今天碰到你，心里的石头落地了。” 过了一段时间，她又给了我一张十多个人的三退名单。两次共退了三十多个人。接到唐婆婆劝退的名单，我心里暖融融的，为唐婆婆明真相有了美好的未来而祝福她！

    今年11月19日是大纪元系列社论《九评共产党》（以下简称《九评》）发表20周年，这本巨著深刻地总结了中国共产党的历史及其本质，给为祸人间一个多世纪的国际共产主义运动，特别是中国共产党敲响了丧钟。《九评》也引发了全球退出中共党、团、队的三退大潮。至今，三退人数累计超过4.38亿人。 11月10日（周日）下午1点至3点半，大纪元纽约报社和新唐人电视台在法拉盛喜来登饭店举办纪念《九评》20周年研讨会，邀请专家学者、资深媒体人、退党华人、退党义工发言，研讨《九评》内容及其对中国和世界的影响，以及未来如何推动更多中国人认清中共、退出中共。哥伦比亚大学政治学博士王军涛以“良好的民主需要思想升华和精神净化”为题做了发言，分享了他所认识的《九评》和三退在中国政治转型中的意义，发言如下： 随着共产党垮台的日子逼近，越来越多的朋友问我一个问题：王军涛，你真的以为共产党垮台之后，中国会更好吗？我从76年坐牢开始，已经为中国的民主化奋斗了48年。对这个问题，我一定要认真思考。 许多人呢，其实我们在座很多人都跟民运做过接触。很多人在批评民运，也都说，就靠你们在共产党倒台之后，能建立一个比共产党更好的中国吗？这个问题确实很有挑战性。 我到哥伦比亚大学读政治学博士，我的主攻方向是政治转型，也很大程度上就是想搞清一个问题。当然，最初的动机是，原来以为89年被邓小平镇压了，那后来呢，中国应当有一个政治转型出现。如果邓小平死了之后，中国应该终于出现转型。结果邓小平死之后，没有，江泽民无惊无险地就把这个班接过来。而且干那么多坏事，都没有导致大的政治危机。 在全世界经历第三波民主化大潮的时候，中国的精英担心的是：民主化之后中国乱了怎么办？辛亥革命100周年的时候，中国在各界纪念辛亥革命时，知识界的主流性的思潮是说：辛亥革命一场革命是给共产党革命打开了大门，辛亥革命转了几十年后，最转出了一个比清朝要坏得多的共产党暴政。 这个问题就提出了一个问题：在全世界经历了第三波民主化大潮后，为什么中国的精英有这样的心态？这是我到哥伦比亚大学读博士的第一个动机。 在哥大读了9年之后，我看了世界那么多国家的转型，我发现，200多年里几乎每个国家都经历过转型，有的国家经历了不止一次。但到今天为止，只有20来个国家的民主制度在良好运行，其他国家都经历了颠覆。许多国家在转型之后经历了战乱，民族与民族之间的战争。这就是说，这个问题其实是一个很重要的问题。 我们靠谁来推动转型？用什么心态去推动转型？ 我觉得这就是《九评》和退党的意义所在。我们不能说靠着刚才郭君女士也讲到仇恨，我们也不能仅仅靠着利益去推动转型。真正要结束共产党暴政之后，要有一个良好的运行制度，我们必须要认清：共产党为什么是罪恶的。不然，我们可能在推翻共产党之后，在各种争斗中重复共产党的路。 你得看共产党早期这批人，我们估计很多人也都有这个机会接触，许多人也是理想主义者。他们可能选错了理想，但是他们在这个过程中间那种不宽容、那种对自己政敌的残酷，他们在建立政权之后屈从于毛泽东，后来他们陆续被毛泽东整治，这是很重要的原因。 所以，我觉得《九评》和退党及三退的意义在于：我们在结束共产党暴政之前，我们要有一次思想的进化，要有一次精神的升华。否则，我们在推翻共产党之后，我们会陷入各种各样的争斗之中。我在1976年第一次坐牢到今天，我认识许许多多坐牢的民运人士，许许多坐牢的人。那当然也有一些人，比如有信仰人，他们在坐完牢之后，他们知道了迫害的痛苦，好多人原来其实并不反对共产党，是因为别的原因，坐牢之后他觉得政治迫害太坏了，所以要需要改变这个制度，想建立一个好制度。但是也有不少人在迫害中，他们觉得政治就是这样，要战胜自己的政敌就得残酷一些。假如我们不认识到共产党为什么在它夺取政权之后会给我们人类带来灾难，其实呢它中间的很多的党员，在跟自己的政敌生死存亡的过程中，他们变得残酷了，后来他们相信毛泽东，相信了共产党。他们认为推翻共产党，需要这种阶级斗争，需要这种残酷的镇压，因为他们看到身边有人倒下了，所以我觉得这是《九评》和退党意义。 我再问另外一个问题，如果中国民主化了，民主制度也有效运行了，我们这个社会真的就可以很好了吗？ 今天，我们站在这片土地--美国，号称是世界上最好的民主国家。我们刚刚经历过一场选战，这场选战实际上应该说不是今天才开始的，搞了十几年了，那今天我知道在座的人当然庆祝自己的胜利，那这个胜利容易吗，就说明美国的制度其实是在运行，但是民主制度和市场制度是什么，就是争权夺利的规则。如果我们仅仅说我们在争权夺利中要一套公正的规则就行，我们只是在争权夺利的话，其实在这个一次一次重复中人心是可能会变的。 所以我在讲，《九评》和三退，其实不仅仅要我们良好的结束共产党暴政，而且我们结束暴政要一批善的人，以善的心去建立一个新的制度。在这个过程中，我们才能让我们的社会给每个人带来安宁。其实我觉得《九评》和退党跟很多批评共产党的文章不一样在于，他是要把人心中本源的善发掘出来，然后批判这个制度，在推翻共产党暴政的过程中，我们逐渐的修复被共产党践踏的中华民族的文化，逐渐的找到我们本源的善心，把共产党的统治对我们人心的毒素清除出去。这样我们才能有一个良好运行的民主制度。我就是这样理解《九评》和三退意义，他在推翻共产党暴政的过程中，创造一个好的精神和思想的条件，让我们推翻暴政后不会再重蹈人类那么多的政治转型的覆辙，能够让我们在一个民主的制度中间，也不要再像现在好像在良好运行的民主这样，人心呢在不断的变换。 谢谢大家！
