Is it normal that, this game feels more realistic to me than, every new games i see for years ? News ones looks, too clean, too flashy, (neon, led everywere). Landscapes looks more like a post card than a real road.

I used to dream to built a 3DO into my car dash and when I'd wait to pick up friends or such, I could play this. The joy in it is how it is more of a simulator than the 50000th racing game. But a complex console like a 3DO would sure not like the winter with it's moisture. So i never dared to install one.

This car was hidden in the American & other versions of the game outside of Australia that you unlocked using the NFSPD code, but not in Australia.

Oh well... still looks better than most of the game released for this system. Can't believe we went from this to Most Wanted. insane run this franchise has got.

para as pessoas que estavam acostumados só com dos jogos de corrida do nes, Snes, mega drive , master system, e ver essa qualidade gráfica do 3do, era como se fosse dirigir uma ferrari de verdade na época de tanto realismo. Logo após apareceu o PS1, com esse jogo no ps1 também, não dava a mesma emoção de realismo.

I had a 3DO at launch in the UK and I absolutely loved the thing, many games were actually first released on the console before the PS1 and Saturn ports came later, this is the original Need for Speed version, I played it to death along with Road Rash, Shockwave, Killing Time and my personal favourite Wing Commander 3 plus loads of other brilliant games. Great memories!
