True Blue in Pawleys Island, South Carolina ... what an interesting course to play! Lots of water in places and you have to play smart on this kind of course. I tried to get "eager" on a few shots and it costed me lost ball and strokes for sure.
The cart paths are very unique or at least I've never seen this before. Instead of traditional sand bunkers, the course has "waste areas" that are hard packed dirt. These are considered the same as bunkers except you are allowed to ground your club when getting ready for your shot. Also, and most interesting, is that your cart path on some holes is to drive through the waste areas! Yup ... there are actually ramps to get in and out of them with you...

Had a chance to play Chester Golf in the beautiful community of Chester in Nova Scotia Canada. This is a local community course that plays along the ocean. The scenery is beautiful and the course was in average condition for a public course. I would absolutely go back and play this course again ... fun, scenic and was not "tourist expensive" in my opinion.

APT Tournament (Number 8) for me in Ontario at The Nest which is located at Friday Harbour in Innisfil, Ontario. Great course in amazing shape! I would go back and play this course anytime. In my opinion, the course isn't highly challenging (although trust me I found my own challenges on this course!) but is fun to play. If you are ever in the area be sure to check it out.

The APT tour for Ontario made a stop this week at Tarandowah Golfers Club. What an interesting course! Scottish style links course that has tight fairways and almost unfair greens.
