Yes. My parrot fishes have laid eggs a couple of times. They have never hatched.

@@thoughttrails8856 bro I think your male parrot fish is infertile,if u like to breed a parrot fish then go for polar blue parrot fish they will breed successfully,in my home aquarium female laid eggs and now even after three days there is no white eggs ,all eggs are been fertilized by the male,in coming 3-6 days the babies will be free swimming

@@Eksdee07 male parrot fishes are infertile brother there is only a rare chance that male is gonna be fertile,but in case of polar parrot male will be fertile,if u get a good pair of polar parrot fish then every month they will breed currently yesterday my female polar parrot have laid eggs and now I checked it they are all fertile I just want to wait for 8-9 days to get them hatched and then after that I'll leave them there for 10 more days and then I'll separate the babies coz they will be got eaten by the male when they start to grow big,he do that because once the babies are there then female will not mate she only cares the babies so he eat of all the babies eventually even female starts eating babies

You can just tell them to give you a breeding pair. It is very difficult to hatch the eggs though. They will easily lay eggs.
