Welcome to the "THE LAB", a series that brings focus to specific projects that I am working on. In this episode, I'll share the reveal of two large prints that have finally gotten framed and a deeper dive into the wider project called 'Burizu'. I hope to make these a bit more regularly inbetween the monthly vlogs. Let me know what you guys think in the comments. Enjoy!

Hi everyone! Welcome to my youtube channel and first ever vlog post. I wanted to start this (hopefully) monthly series where I get to share my process as an artist running a business in NYC. I plan to share some of the ups and downs of going solo in the commerical illustration industry, all while trying to get more comfortable in front of this camera... Hope you all enjoy! Thank you! I appreciate all the support.
This came out great bro!
Thanks for the soundscapes bro, as always.
I realized that drawing female characters tends to garner more clicks than male characters or maybe I’m wrong.
There is defintely some truth to that, but it also comes down to having the fortitude, with a bit of luck, to find an audience that appreciates what you do. There is definitely a method to the madness with all these horrible alogorithms but, many of us, including myself, stuggle to crack it.
I really dig the print. See it physically framed is something else compared to a soft copy.
I agree man. The frames just elevate the work so much more.
I'm gonna be that follower years from now commenting "I've been watching since EP. 1"
I'm gonna hold you to that. That means I'll need to stay commited for years too though, so the pressure is more on me to be consistent, ha!
Amazing work! Can’t wait to hopefully hang a copy of that 16 bit piece and buy a book!
thank you! I plan to make smaller runs of these large prints in the very near future. Will be taking presales on the first print very soon.
Cant wait!
I can’t sketch comfortably when I’m doing digital. I import my sketches in notebooks and do the lineart
I find that so interesting to hear. Seems like that’s more common than the other way around too. I wonder if it’s a tactile thing or maybe an issue with parallax effect you get when drawing on screen?
@ I use an iPad Pro for digital art so I can definitely say it’s not parallax. I trained in traditional arts for a long time.
Do you draw in vector based program or raster based
Vector usually. I’ll do my final linework and colors in adobe fresco using the vector brush
WELCOME TO RUclips!! For some reassurance your videos are hitting the right audience !! Im also an the Artist!! cant wait to see you grow in the youtube space.
Cheers for the warm welcome!
What resolution / dpi setting to get such a high quality print
I work primarily it vector which helps for scaling up. Otherwise for a print this size in raster you would have to work at around 14000 x 18000 pixels at 300 dpi
seeing your art printed is always sooooo coooool
Appreciate that bro!
Can't wait for more of these bro, keep em coming !
Thank you! Hope to keep up with it
your style is amazing !! 🔥

LESSSSSS GOOOOOOOOO!
🦾🦾🦾
Something Richard Hammond said about presenting that stuck with me he took as talking to that one person who is really interested in what he's saying, ignoring the camera completely.
Fedding good, the shorts were good but this is what we want!
Thank you! Will aim to do more
