Enclosure wise for the genius i use the YPS large enclosure from your pixel store. They also have mounting options and everything for the boards. I run it with 2 meanwell 12v 30 amp power supplies. one at each terminal. Each terminal controls 8 of the ports.

Thank you! Do you have to use two power supplies? My Adveteck controller only needs one and controls a ton of pixels.

i just may. im working into expanding. I rented equipment for wheat straw. lol I get 600k a year, and somehow i end up with zero at the end of the year :D gotta manage better

I haven’t went into that yet but I’m having issues with the crossplay version where as soon as I walk to a field everything locks up and I can only tab or open the menu and click on equipment to get in it..

@@BensBackyardShop yeah idk what’s going on but I can play the PC version just fine with the same changes I made with the crop textures from Bullet Bill..

oh sorry to hear that. It sucks when you get a dud. Mine is still going solid with no issues, though now that I have a tractor i am seeing things that i would want in a next one.

Hey there, No I haven't gotten brave enough to do live streams. I am just getting into this side of youtube, and stumbling through.

its actually all done in xlights. you setup your controllers in the controller tab and upload them. Then when you upload your sequence to the fpp. it will uload the e.131 or ddp info

@@BensBackyardShop Thank you! I got it running as a bridge connection. I was hoping to get it to work as master and remote option, but experiences lights seen that they had done a poor done with instruction and updates.

There will be more coming. Not as many bbq videos in the winter. I still cook in the winter, but less sitting outside :D Just added a new CNC machine and laser to the shop, so some of that coming. Of course, its gonna be time to start building lightshow props soon also!

I went out and started mine in Jan. Started right up. Some people get good ones, some people get bad ones. I got lucky.

I wouldn't even want to price one out right now.

I actually bought it right from Anycubic. That was a couple years ago. You can check amazon tho.

@@BensBackyardShop Ok, thanks. I realised that it was just a wire that was smoking, so I just cut off the part and re-soldered it, and now it works.

Might still need to buy one in the future if it completely breaks though.

its thin but they are strong. i love them. well my dog did eat one :D but they work great, easy to care for.

Well originally i liked the wifi capability of the kulps. I didn't have network jacks installed yet, so to get going i needed wifi. It really overloaded my wifi and wasn't working perfectly. This year I installed the jacks and no longer had need for wifi. Kulp controllers all use Beagles. Thats an FPP for each controller. Last year I had 5 FPP's around the yard. This year switching to Genius i had 4 (but 3 were projectors) I liked the wifi setup of the genius, i like the ease of the pig tail connectors. I like the innovations that they are doing and will be doing. I am sure kulp will be coming up with some innovation with his. I think the genius just takes a layer of complexity off. I have used Falcon, Kulp and Genius. I dont forsee changing again for awhile, probably just adding smart rx'ers

Honestly I like the ingunutiy of the genius as well. With all the pixel issues people have had, the pixel failure test function is intriguing, although one hopes to not need it I guess lol. Thanks for the insights 👍

Yeah i dont know whats up with the "pixel failures" I am starting to think alot of it is user error. I mean im hearing of people that are having 20 or more per night. I haven['t had 20 pixel failures in the last 4 years. Either that or it just has to do with the quality people are buying. Its tough, prices are going up on everything, so we do try to go for the best deal. When it comes to pixels I try to go middle of the road or higher for quality. Well at least reputation. lol

I got a notification about a comment on not liking fpp on all the devices. I can't find it tho. Yeah i just don't want to deal with all the ip's etc. one fpp. and it controls the genius controllers via DDP. Just setup the controllers in Xlightts and xlights will setup basically all the settings when you do your controller uploatds.

its run off a raspberry pi with the Falcon player software on it. xlights uploads to that. i have a video about falcon player on here.

I walked away from Anycubic and Ender. Went all in on bambu labs and will never look back!

i do have the 46" not sure why i kept thinking 42. i love the extra cut. i only wish it had a power bagger. it does clog quick in certain circumstances if i am not careful

What you need is a Trac Vac a fantastic machine I tow one behind my cub cadet. Leaves and grass no problem.

I will agree, things aren't made like they use to be. That said. My quality of cut has been great with this thing. Of course i am not trying to have a golf course quality lawn.

Move out of the USA if you think the it has gone to S**T.
