American art song composer Juliana Hall has written more than 35 song cycles and her commissions include song cycles for Metropolitan Opera singers Dawn Upshaw and David Malis. Her music has been performed in major concert halls in Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Colombia, Denmark, England, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, and Uruguay.

Hall's music has been broadcast by the BBC (London, UK) and National Public Radio (Washington, DC) - as well as by various other radio stations in Canada, France, Indonesia, Netherlands, South Africa, and the United Kingdom - and the Albany and Vienna Modern Masters record labels have issued a number of her works on three CDs.
