There Will Be Rest - Bell'Arte Singers
one of my favourites, and I can relate... I'm a big fan!
Spot-on, Friend.
Spot on, Morgan.
Remove it's Garbled !!
Bobby keys
Sounds like crap dude !!!! Just take it down ...
Always enjoyed seeing Morgan and his band thousands of years ago in London, Ontario. Great player and he had a great drummer at the time.
There's something wrong with the sound - can barely hear it...
I've never heard him before......what a lost ! He plays as if he was born from the instrument and not a womb ! (have covid...can't think of name of instrument.)
Very nice!
So spoiled to see him weekly ! Ha ! Eat yer heart out fans .....
Listening in from North Wales. You would be liked over here.
I just purely like your presentation!
a true blues man
Loved stumbling upon Morgan playing last night here in Mahone Bay. A real treat. This is the song he was playing when I sat down to listen...
Very similar to David Wilcox (the Canadian blues dude, not the American songwriter dude)
great !!
I was looking for a version of Drive My Blues Away and found all of these clips! Fantastic! I hope you visit Alberta sometime!
Thanks Ken for some great memories. Keep on rocking..
Good stuff. Morgan can also play urban Chicago style very well. I remember him playing a song at Grossman's years ago that had a line I believe went "I know it's hard to be a woman, but sometimes it's hard to be a man." What I liked best was the guitar playing. I'm sorry Morgan has never recorded that song because I really wish I had a copy.
Morgan played this song last night at the Trellis Café in Hubbards, NS. It was great. The uploader certainly go good sound considering it was a café with people talking. April 15, 2017.
It was always a joy to see Morgan at Grossman's. A far smaller audience than he deserved. Great entertainer as well as a great player/singer.
Groovy
doncha love the sense o humour. I remember seeing him when he was with David Wilcox---called themselves The Red Knights of the Mystic Sea I think----musta bin the mid 70's
I love your guitar picking and voice. I just came across you today. You have a great channel with your excellent covers. I could listen to you all day.
We're singing this in a couple of weeks and our director picked this performance to sing along with at home to help us polish it. Thanks!
You RULE Morgan!!!!
I think you are going to be the best Blues artist in Toronto water friend in 2013. I am looking forward to enjoying this real Blues music and nice finger picking on Sunday June 2 Great playing Al
Nice playing. I am looking forward to watching you on Sun June 2 at the Blues Festival in Toronto. Nice guitar, pickups and performance too!
Nice !
he's got the real feeling in his voice and playing...whew !
this is great to see thanks ,hes on his second cigar box guitar now that ive built him .
Nice turn of phrase. I heard this on the way home in the car today and there's a lot of truth to the lyrics. Well done Morgan.
Wow Frank Ticheli is the best!!! l love his band repertoire too. this is the first time i've heard one of his choral works. Sounds great!!
cool... men you are awesome
I heard he smoked the whole box!
Such a beautiful piece - it touches me every time I hear it. As a member of the Bell'Arte Singers, I feel particularly proud of our efforts and thank Gerard for introducing us to such glorious music. It took us a while to "feel" the piece, but I think we finally got it.
