Why heat in the larger measuring cup? Why not just heat with hot water from teh faucet? Seems redundant.

So how long did it take for the milk to be warm in the cup how many minutes for how many oz

I just put a bowl under the kuerig, make it dispense water only and adjust oz so the milk in formula will be covered by water, and swirl as heating. Takes a few minutes but is evenly heated.

Super-heating explanation is flawed. A liquid is super heated when it goes past the boiling point without turning to vapor. For water boiling point is 212 degrees Fahrenheit or 100 degrees Celsius. Water which is boiling cannot go past this point. Any thermal energy that is added to it beyond this point is used to transition it to steam. Super-heating often happens in the microwave as most microwave safe dishes have very smooth surfaces and water does not have nucleation points which would help create steam. Once the liquid is super-heated it looks perfectly still. But, if anything porous, like utensils or a zip-lock bag with rough edges, enters the water it causes a violent creation of steam which sprays the super-heated water in an explosion, easily causing severe burns if it comes into contact with skin. A very bad day for anyone standing near, no matter how thick your skin might be.

In my head, it's not fall until October. Summer also lasts from May to August, in my head. I guess September is seasonless, lol. But I'm from Florida where it's hot year round, with the exception of occasional cold snaps in the winter.

Ris, what do you think about using this method but not using the strips to cover the coil holes? Would the prepunched holes fit over an a5’s rings? Or could I use a hole punch and punch over the coiled holes? Is the strip of paper mostly for looks? Bc I may be able to get over that if it saves me from having to cover the holes with sticker paper.

The video is mostly good content except for one point. It is Not safe to microwave water in cup due to superheating and scald risk. Place a teaspoon in with the cup so you and baby won't get a cloud of superheated steam.
