Does this adjustment affect the lifespan of the air conditioners, or cause malfunctions in the indoor or outdoor AC units? Additionally, does it increase electricity consumption?
When would I have to set the unit number? I have two air handlers connected to my Fujitsu outdoor heat pump. Both wired controllers are set to unit number 00. When would I have to set them differently? Main reason why I'm asking is, I installed a UTY-TTRXZ1 thermostat converter and everything is installed correctly, but the air handler does not come on. I'm wondering if I have to change the unit number using the old Fujitsu wired controller prior to installing the converter and a standard thermostat.
