You will see, that i minimzed bullshit on my helmet to the very least, to keep unneeded shit out, and effiency as high as possible. This is not an impression setup, however i do base it veery loosely on German SF and US Arm...

How To Velcro On a REAL Combat Helmet | Icorfield tactical - Gearcraft Vol. 1
Hey Icorfield Tactical I have been working on a alt history series for awhile and Germany is one of the major factions in my series, It's during a global world war in the modern day and Germany is also in a civil war between multiple different factions from the still western aligned NATO government holding out in the west, and in the east a revolutionary Provisional Government supported by Russia and in between them various far right and far left extremist groups operating inside Germany. For my series in spite of it being a work of fiction I want the tactical gear aspect to be realistic if you would like to help me with advice or ideas I would be happy to receive the wisdom that came from your experience from the German Military. Best wishes _The Doctor Airsoft
Dieses Ding ist Gottlos. Ich hasse es auf den Tod. Gott sei Dank bald Mobast auch für mich
Honnêtement j'adore ton loadout 😍 vive la France 🇨🇵
קרל. 😂😂
the amount of misinformation in here is ridiculous
Ridiculous how you are the only guy who says i'm spreading misinformation
This is so bad. I couldn't imagine going to war with the default system. There are so many good cheap chest rigs out there.
You have a carrying strap in your NBC pouch, allowing you to carry it like a handbag. If you carry it beneath your chest rig, it sits beneath your mag pouches, allowing you to still reach your gas mask and freeing up hip space.
This is outdated information. It used to be the standard equipment system, but the army has actually been introducing the "KBS" System, and while everyone still has a Lochkoppel in their issue kit, everyone, including non combat units are now getting issued personal ballistic vests with a Molle kit and a new personal equipment set.
Still takes a while for everyone to get. Been in for several years and i still didn't get it.
ACC deployed
Oh god, I hated that thing...
He took leave from basic? Thats wild that thats a thing.
Moritz also had to do wild things to get leave... 💀
@icorfieldtac fair enough
Jede Sekunde Gold!
In Greece conscripted men are using using a modernized version of the M67 webbing Actually Career soldiers using it as well to avoid using more modern equipment reserved only " in case really needed" But honestly why the German military had to make it so complicated and not just adopt an already existing-proven system? 🤔 For example the m67 although is literally vietnam era design is completely adjustable and comfortable to wear, you can literally carry up to 30kg of equipment on you and not feel it at all 😏
Way better than the shit we used before!!!!
lochkoppel ist nicht scheiße
Wenn du meinst.
As a Fallschirmjäger veteran i approve BUT In the 90s ( Wiesel operator ) when this Webbing system was introduced we ALWAYS wore this over the "Splitterschutzweste" as intended ( Flak vest) & never needed "Padding" , the "Fastening & Adjusting" wasnt easy but only done once to fit . GLÜCK AB ! 😉
Allzeit, Glück ab! 🇩🇪
you can't feel a video, the video... diese Lasche für die ABC-Tasche wieder zubekommen, die Mehrzwecktasche, die gegen den Oberschenkel ballert oder die Plaste-Magazintaschen, die sich beim in Stellung werfen, in deinen Bauch rammen, einfach Gottlos das gute alte Koppeltrage-Gestell...
That was a trip thorough memory lane. BTW the Mehrzwecktasche was so big to be able to fir the Essegschirr (PI-Pott) aka your Meal bucket. With that in it it was already quite full. The ABC-Bag originally also included a NBC-Poncho. During my time in 2008 we trained to quickly put on that Poncho. You had just a few seconds to do it.
Seems like back then NBC stuff was more readily available/issued. Today you only get the NBC mask and the IFAK related to it. If you were to need it, you would get the real filter. But thats it, only wore the whole-body suit once and that was it. I remember when the invasion happened, leadership was super autistic about ,,Vollzähligkeit ABC Mat", guess what, still didnt get shit almost 3 years afterwards.
@icorfieldtac the funny bit: we did not get the proper poncho. They kept it for training and gave it to us only occasionally. We did get issued a simplified poncho, similar to the NVA Ponchi. Basically a bright green trashbag. I've "lost mine" very early.
Ah yes, the BW Regenponcho, i believe is what you are referring to... Great piece of gear 👌🏼
PLCE 🎖✌👍🇬🇧
I don't get why people dump cr4p so much on this. It is 30 years old. I was designed for a different time, different circumstances than today. And, it is not completely useless. The key is, you have to adjust it well. For private tacticool purposes, you can combine it with other stuff. Myself, I have one pimped up with an 80s style US light vest. That one provides padded should straps, more pouches along the straps and various hooks to attach other stuff like flashlights etc. And no, I don't use it to play soldies in the woods, I use it as a tool carrier when working up a ladder and situations like that. Looks a bit funny, but works well. With some customization regarding the attached pouches, you get a system that is pretty light, has lots of storage options, fits well and does not hinder you if you arrange stuff properly (which is the problem in the military, the prescribed set of pouches and the arrangement of them is suboptimal).
Working stuff up the ladder is nowhere near comparable then using it is an infantryman in the 21st century, Sir.
@@icorfieldtac I said this is what I use mine nowadays for, Sir. I did carry this while I was in the military, and I think I went into great lengths of why the military issued stuff is problematic and giving this a bad rep, and what can be done to make the experience with it much better, even for active service personell!
Ich hab das Gefühl, du bist irgendein Panzergrenadier oder so und wolltest einfach nur 23 Minuten lang Lochkoppel dissen... wie jeder andere auch
Fühl dich wie du willst, Kamerad.
Yeah my biggest hate is the damn g36 knobs on the mags. Absolutely useless / mismatched with the mags. Legends say that the arma equipment clacking while running was recorded from koppel systems
I always used the Splitterschutzweste as padding that worked quite well for me...
Schulter-Tragegestell
I hated that thing
I honestly like how when the Canadian Army came around in the 1980s with the 82 Pattern Webbing and then the Bundeswehr just copied it and turned it into the Lochkoppel in the 1990s. I do admit as a 82 Pattern Webbing user, the Lochkoppel seems a lot more better and advanced and unlike the 82, it can properly be worn over body armour. Also similarities in magazine carry, both Canadian and Bundeswehr soldiers (in most army units) carrying up to 5 magazines in training. Meanwhile active duty/regular soldiers in both armies have better vest and chest rigs and carry up to 7-10 magazines. It is only when everyone is deployed to a international training exercise (NATO exercises) or deployed overseas is when everybody gets better gear. Edit: Speaking about the spade/shovel, unlike the Bundeswehr, Canadian soldiers during the 1980s and present day DO NOT carry their spades on the webbing. Although there was a pouch created for the spade to be used on the webbing, it was decided to have the spades/shovels in the vehicles or in the rucksacks. Sadly, unlike the Bundeswehr, Canadian soldiers had wear the small pack/"butt pack" on the 82 webbing, which added extra weight and uncomfortable when sitting against a wall or a seat in a vehicle. When it comes to the gasmask pouch, on the Canadian webbing it was worn on the left side of the webbing OR the gasmask pouch was worn on a separate sling and the webbing worn on top of it.
with those mag pouches it was nearly impossible to pull a mag properly. good that they go out of the troops now
Well, the Gasmask pouch is so huge because it's supposed to fit your entire NBC kit, poncho, raincoat and mask and gloves.
Well, great that the average soldier boy only gets issued a quarter of it
Ein Traum, dieser Hass ist wunderbar.
The grommets are because if someone ventilates you, the holes match with the grommets, according to DIN 0815, STANAG 4711, Technische Richtlinie (TR)...whatever (those numbers are always too long for soldiers limited mental abilities to remember) and the demands of all 6,800 employees of the BAAINBw. Of course it's NOT for german special forces...as these NEVER get ventilated. It iz strictly forbidden by order of your Kompaniefeldwebe KpFw "Spieß" or Company Sergeant Major to get ventilated by your enemy.....only by your own inaptitude or your wives actions are you allowed to get ventilated like a Lochkoppel
hey no kinkshaming
there is no rage like a german having to work with sub par equipment
🤣 oh ja.... i would prefer every webbing pattern (58) than the Lochkoppel 😉
The webbing system was developed for a conscript army during the Cold War; it needed to be cheap and quick to produce. Body armor was not intended in this context, and CQB (close quarters battle) wasn't a major focus. In this regard, it served its purpose and was simply overtaken by time. It’s worth noting that the best soldier makes do with the equipment provided to them, which highlights the adaptability of the soldier. I had to use it and didn’t like it either, but it served the purpose for which it was developed.
thats the reason i dumped the Lochkoppel after Basic Training and did buy a private one fully polstered with integrated Pouches and so on no wobble for me at the time and it wasnt olive Grün....nope my new Koppel that i bought was multicam... that Lochkoppel was a nightmare when u carry ur big backpack and it pushed the multibag on ur back down so the shoulderharniss slices in ur shoulders....pure nightmare.....^^
Half of what i hear from my friend says, that joined the Bundeswehr a few months ago, is just: "Die Koppel is so scheiße, ne!"
I thought that the German system was quite good...compared to the Canadian 82 pattern web gear.
2:30, yes that thing is a pain in the a... but it predates MOLLE by many years. The major thing wrong with the system, we should have ditched it long ago.
what i did after basic, i bought some mags, cut the knobs off and put them perpendicular in the mag pouch to how you should put them in to strech them out a bit. helped massively to make reloads easier. still hated the "to reload, take a new mag out, hold it next to the spent one, swap mags and put mag back" because of my short fingers i couldnt do that reliably without eventually dropping mags by accident because i was fumbling with the super tight mag pouches. i used the multi purpose pouch as a droppouch and got the old mag out, THEN taking a new mag, reloading the weapon. so idiotic this lochkoppel
I struggled with that myself aswell. Did the same thing with stretching out the mag pouches, but swapping mags i used the ,,L-technique". Hard to describe but its what you see with people using the AR-15 when they change mags
@icorfieldtac L technique is better but still I had this "I will fumble this when I need it" so I don't train it. You know "train like you fight, fight like you train". So I either dropped the mag and replaced it or pulled it out to put it in the drop pouch and then reloaded. I was fairly fast with this too and since I wasn't commando but only a gebirgsjäger the milliseconds difference wouldn't matter too much
This reminds of that one time we visited the Gebirgsjäger for Mountain Warfare training when we were in the middle of climbing the Hochstaufen and the Heeresbergführer told us: ,,While climbing, what do you do, when you get in contact?" We were all like ,,One team rappels down and the other team fires?" Didn't even finish the sentence and said ,,YOU FUCKING DIE, THATS WHAT YOU DO"
"A German Military-Exercise into France...." 😬
I would argue the Canadian 64 pattern set is the worst ever! The yoke is thin webbing about 3cm wide that digs into your shoulders. Everything is held on with velcro so the pouches fall off all the time and it doesn't even have pouches for your magazines- you carry them in the pockets of your combat tunic instead!
Putting a spare magazine aside in case of a firefight was already taught in 1998 - and we had G3 Rifles with smooth magazines at that time. The Lochkoppel was not that bad, when it was introduced. But it´s in service for nearly 30 years now and has become dated.
Thank you, Sir. You're probably one of the only people who served way ahead of me who isn't defending the Koppel with their lives
Imagine being a Panzergrenadier inside of Puma SPz and still have to wear the Lochkoppel. Hehe (the reality).
ist das geil hahahah
I can't count the amount of magazine pouches that were lost on the obstacle course during my basic training
Broooooo, i feel you. The IDZ-MOLLE adapters that you could attach the Koppel-Magpouches to MOLLE were even worse.
