Hey, I wanted to ask you what are you components of your PC, if you are willing to share, and on what graphics are you playing on?

Pyromane was bad idea and even WildCard admitted it. After all it is just reskin of Shadowmane with a bit of different abilities. Dreadmare/Dreadstallion is much better but still might be considered money grab by some.

There are times I want to play Evolved again (mostly the maps not in ASA yet), but Ascended had so many things I personally preferred (the map, dino tracker, building, a few creature improvements, etc) alongside the fact I don't have anyone to play ASE with now. I'd probably give it a go again if I had people to play with but eh.

I have RTX 3090 too but i dont have RTX tab in graphic options like you. Why?

The Amd frame gen is broken aswell it litterally doesnt work, they added this and removed nvidia fg which worked perfectly, funnily enough they dont answer when talking about this and you get silenced on reddit for talking about this its disgusting and i stopped playing ever since abberation cuz of it (they removed nvidia frame gen with abberation)

was wacthing until 1:38, when I saw your graphic setting and view distance set do EPIC. This is the thing, that is eating most of the power, opti, fps, whatever. You dont need to see a rock generating 2 meters earlier, than it would on medium . . . It does not affect dinos appearing in the distance, same as it didnt on ASE.

I get that it's frustrating that they removed an option that lets people play the game the way they want to but I find this video funny. You added something to make your experience better and now the devs turned it on by dafault so you want them to remove it so you can add it yourself.

I agree that they should have kept the option to disable it, but I think this is only relevant for the coming years, when more modern hardware is available that can run the game without it. At the moment most people are complaining that the game performs poorly, so removing an option to make it run better, even if it was available, would not be advisable. Personally, I don't have many complains about the performance, as I have only slightly lower FPS than you, still adequate enough, but without the stuttering, and I have a nVidia 3060, but play at 1080 (that is the maximum resolution of my monitor anyway). Many complains I've read are from people that have 4070s or 4080s and can't go as higher as the money they spend should allow. There migh be some sort of performance plateau reached by X060s and perhaps more expensive cards don't really perform better.

Am I the only one that hates the asa graphics, like I was hopping asa could have been a texture change and some graphical enhancement to ase. Like the went way overboard with to much orange a blue and the rocks look like they have food coloring all over it. I also hate the new Hud and map, I liked the more primal feel of ase. But maybe im just crazy.

My easiest tames were the ones that I failed on as in I never had to bring back to base or lvl them or feed them and god forbid if I ended up trying to breed it. Man I tell ya the failed tames are cake compared to the sucker's who have to work to keep the successful tames. I'll take the fail safe tames

Unable to access any modded server that has a password. Modded servers create an extra pop-up window which can't be exited, the password can be typed there but not actually entered so your stuck. Has been a problem for 6 months. Playing on xbox GP PC cloud play. Anyone else run into this? been complaining to support about it for 6 months.

Deinonychus is essentially a smaller, more agile, feathered Allosaurus

The deinonychus being at #1 makes sense but the only thing BAD about it is that the climbing ability thats it is supposed to be good at doing is super janky.

ngl i almost never get rexes. keep in mind i mostly play fjord and extinction so rexes just arent very needed as in fjord i just get shadowmanes and in extinction i go and skip rexes and grind to a giga as rexes dont cut it in the end game of that map also even on say val or rag i used to play before i had extinction and fjordur wasnt out yet i used spinos more as their higher damage is nice and with the healing of a pig the health gap is not as much an issue plus buffs in water make them more versatile in more fights and day to day tasks. like the only reason i got rexes in my current world was to make an exp farm to level up my mutated shadowmanes lol

going to be forever before they add the maewing back. you can only get it on modded servers right now. i'd be surprised if they even do add it back tbh with how much wildcard refuse to actually fix the game & just barefaced ignore complaints. also waiting on deinonychus to come back. they were my favourite dinos to breed in evolved because they were very powerful for their size and grow reasonably fast compared to some other dinos with similar strength.

10+ years ark player here, and I can safely say evolved is the better game on the Xbox Series X. The screen tearing and bugs in Ascended are brutal, as well as the fps. People forget that Evolved still looks very good on the Series X.
