How much did it cost to make?
Nicely done! Gonna look for the build video now. Got alot of this stuff laying around the house anyway
Good luck, maybe take a look on my website to help with your build 👍
How much does it cost for the parts?
A couple of hundred euros, but then I did already have the motor and pulley
Can I order this
Yes, but not from me 🙂
Awesome! Can you make one that does a ewe?
A ewe with feathers? Gonna need a bigger drum!

hello, how does the coil behave? what are the temperatures around the coil? what water temperatures do you achieve?? I would also use something like that for central heating, I'm just worried that the water doesn't turn into steam. and yes, how much is the saving, when the fuel column is filled, how long does it take?
Hi, the water in the coil doesn't boil because it is pumped continuously. I have a 60ltr header tank which supplies the underfloor heating system, temperature ranges from 30 to 40°C in the tank. The stove raises the water temperature between 10° and 25° depending on what I'm burning. At the moment I have a supply of scraps and off-cuts of wood (mainly pine) from a local building firm so cost is zero (just some time to cut to a suitable size). Loading of the stove is required every 60 - 90 minutes 🔥
Is the water flowing hot or jus tap water
Just cold tap water, the chickens are scalded in hot water before plucking
so basically it is connected in the faucet? @@MyProjectCorner
does the chicken will be harden if your using tap water? or not?
Yes, connected to the tap
How did it hold up? I'm considering printing it
Still in use today!
Where can I buy this.
Nowhere, you gotta make it 🤗
Is that a 6inch flue you are using?
Hi Robert, the flue pipe I'm using is 125mm or approx 5" diameter, with a 6 metre rise.
@@MyProjectCorner I'm glad you use the metric system 😂 how is the system going so far have you made any modifications?
I've not modified it at all. Working really well, for the last few months I've been burning scraps of wood from a local builders, in addition to a few compressed logs 👍 Also all my burnable recycling goes in 😁
@@MyProjectCorner do you mention the size of the bell on your website, what are the dimensions? I think i can start the build of my stove this weekend!!
The diameter is 40cm and it's 115cm high, good luck with your build 👍
Why am I laughing at a dead chicken tumbling around a contraption at 3 AM?
we dont know thats ur problem not ours
🙊
Weed does that to you😂
@guanaco51442 I don't smoke weed lmao I hate the smell of it.
Do you have plans for this plucker?
I didn't make any plans, just started building it with what I had to hand. If you take a look at my website site there are more details
Thank you for sharing the project, save thousands for a commercial one
Your welcome 😁
Brilliant!
Thanks 👍
That's really awesome! I'm sure it was way cheaper than $500 for a store bought one. Try running two birds at once. We found that we got cleaner birds that way.
Thanks it was, and yes we do 2 birds at once now. It does do a better job. Here's the my plucker doing 2 if your interested ruclips.net/video/Y-5UT_EwSnM/видео.html
Price kitna hai
about 180€ in total, but I already had a lot of the parts (motor, large pulley, wood)
what are you using for bait? we used to use raw fish
Anything really, I've used offcuts of raw pork, prawn heads, cooked chicken scraps. But I think raw fish gets it working quickest
Wow! You should make a patent. I wonder how much money can you make building "Chicken Pluckers" for people.
Not my idea, I just built it!
Chicken pluckers have been around for decades. Already patented.
Yeah, I figured. Cool idea, though.@@R-BURQUENO
@@apollosaturn5 Definitely! Makes everything so much easier.
question, can this be made with any other jar?
Sure, probably need to adjust the size of the 3D printed 'lid'. The model is available on Tinkercad www.tinkercad.com/things/eSMBLBkL7az
Nice job!
Thanks
it*s the best project seen thanks brother😄😁
Most welcome 😊

Hey, that's a neat system. Where did you get the plans for it or did you make come up eith it yourself? Looking to build one similar. Thanks!
Hi Jeryd, I looked at a few chicken pluckers online and built something similar using stuff I had to hand. I haven't got any plans. But next month I'll be stripping down the plucker to service it. If you like I'll post a video which will give you an better idea of how it's constucted
@@MyProjectCorner Real nice work ! A Video how you make the construction ,Thatcher will by nice ! Thx ag
Would it be possible for you to send a link of the design ? I need to do a conversion like this

@@MyProjectCorner thank you :)
Thanks a lot for your job. I did the same for mine :)
Great 👍
Good job! How have you reverse engineered the original battery pinout?
Well nice i have same idea, but Lidl batteries at my country is 20V no 12V.
use a car battery
Battery 12v?
Yes, the Lidl battery is 12v
@@MyProjectCorner could you have used a car battery?
Nice! I want to make one of these.
Go for it 👍
thats awesome
Thanks, I like it
do you have a wiring diagram for this ?
My daughter just asked “does it hurt the chicken “ 🐓 😂
I’m 31 and asking the same question…
Does it work?
Bonjour, un an après cette vidéo, êtes vous toujours satisfait ? Et les doigt s'usent-ils vite ? Merci pour cette démo (et l'article sur sa fabrication)
