The Maine Forest and Logging Museum is a living history museum at 262 Government Road in Bradley, Maine, United States. Our mission is to celebrate Maine’s rich forestry and logging history through education, demonstration, preservation, and conservation; fostering curiosity and enjoyment for all ages; and to inspire and encourage others to join our efforts. The Museum is a nonprofit organization incorporated in 1960, and is unique within the State in its focus on forest resources in a cultural context. We are an event-based outdoor living history museum, so the best way to see what we do is to come to an event. Our events feature our restored Lombard loghaulers, restored gas-powered sawmills, a recreated water-powered sawmill, a blacksmith shop and many other displays. All of this on our beautiful wooded 400 acres on Blackman Stream.
