Picked 3 tiger's eye. This, I actually find very important for those that use sm platforms like YT and are dealing with trolls in the comments. So very important, and those who notice this, too, should begin to report that to YT so their algorithmic monitor AI bots can consider that in their calculations. Had someone comment on a segregated yt clip. It was political/controversial related with current events. I've noticed a pattern where certain comments get deleted when replying to these users who are obviously trolls. Main reason I noticed is I tried removing the @ to their name so they wouldn't be notified. Lo and behold, the comment stayed. I tried again, leaving the comment without the @ while using the same exact comment with the @. Go figure, both comments were deleted almost automatically. Curious 🤨 so i did it one last time without the @ and no other replicated comment to, again, test the theory. How is it when the user was notified via @/reply they were instantly deleted, yet my last one that didn't notify them is still there several hours later? 🤔 I will add, it can potentially just be 1 person for me if they're a lame troll who can do multiple acts, but until that is known we'll say it's "multiple people." Anyhoot, they made the claim of being a professional in biopsychology for 20 years, trying to make their comments come across as "valid" even though there is no indication of credibility, and they've said the minimum with 0 references. My reply used direct quotes from a government website coupled with valid points that you can generally find and research in your own time. Yet due to the nature of key context (as nothing nasty or heinous was said), I noticed the comment would get deleted just a few minutes after sharing. I had also hidden the user because I didn't want this troll going to my channel or anything of the like. Yt has set it up to where they can still see the reply and also make a reply, yet if they make any rebuttals, you are left with no notifications of any kind. So they can continue to make false claims, slander, what have you, and you wouldn't even know about it to defend yourself or situation/topic. For me that's very important because yt algorithms are helping to, in a way, incentivize trolls by allowing them to capitalize on the very things trolls do best 🙃 and anyone following the rules get the brunt of it all from both sides as YT is only monitoring via a program with bots. Not real people who have the ability to delegate and perceive what is actually going on. You can imagine with certain hot topics, that's quite harmful to sm platforms long term as it gives more reasons for platforms to enforce AI moderated censorship, rumors about the system abusing censorship can be spread by trolls who understand how it works to unsuspecting people that are ignorant while promoting their own agenda, and due to them having the last word they discredit people who actually mean well in lieu of their money making scams of saying "I'm a professional" or any other ludicrous claims that should be on grounds for report and deletion if not ban entirely. Wanted to get that out there so others can, hopefully, take note if they are experiencing the same misfortunes. That way we can report things for platforms so their algorithms can moderate more accurately. It's a relatively new thing overall as nothing is considered long term until 10 years (which obviously we haven't hit that marker with platforms and AI). I've already commented my concerns directly to the yt app, and I hope others will do the same. Going back to the reading. Yep, they're a scammer. I'm not worried about staying connected to anyone who wants to stay in contact with such people. If they can't listen to reason then there's no reason to compromise your own well being. The best thing you can do is cut your losses and move on hoping they eventually see the reality in siding with a troll. I know if we aren't able to deal with this then it will lead to platforms taking more aggressive measures in censorship. It's not right to punish both sides, but if trolls continue in this manner then they do it to themselves, and that is the result of the consequences of their actions.
