Knowing where she ended up, this era her voice feels completely alien. Sort of like comparing Alex Chilton's voice in The Box Tops to his voice in Big Star. I'm glad she got these sad ballads out of her system.

She sounds like a 30 year old. Amazing how she sounded younger the older she got.
