I see the uploads from the amazing live session at McNee's/McGee's are on RUclips. I'm not a Celtic fan but one of my pals who is had these on tape over two decade ago. Has anyone any idea if the Blarney Pilgrims are still on the go and if they, have the master tapes from this recording? I think over and above having the best versions of The Foggy Dew and Boys of the Old Brigade that I've ever heard, that they are very, very important to the history of Scottish folk music, of the Irish Republican movement in Scotland, and to history in general. Would really appreciate if someone could reply to me; this music needs preserved.

Many people aren't aware of this,even many irish people. Mona Connolly was the 13 year old daughter of 1916 Easter Rising leader James Connolly, she died from burns after her apron caught fire aged 13, at the time James was in the US working with the trade Unions, and the incident happend around the time his wife was due to visit him in America with the children so she had little time to inform James about the incident, and he only found out at the dock when his wife arrived.. It's such a sad story. 😔
