Hola Matt! Yo tenía el mismo problema hasta que decidí abrir una cuenta de banco en pesos. Así me ahorro el mal sabor de que me cobren de más. Y me di cuenta que los bancos en México ofrecen más intereses en inversión porque ya tienen competencia del Banco del Bienestar. Saludos

Great video short, sweet and accurate. You have to be a resident in Mexico and application will ask your resident address in Mexico but they will only return it to the DHL office. At least that is how its done in Yucatan

Having just visited Zihua, im pretty sure they are doing fine just the way they want it. So ignorant wanting to change a city for your own reasons. Go change NY or Chicago or Filly. Those places could use your input

We love ZIhua just not in June July and Aug...its too hot. We visit in Feb and March but Nov and Dec are wonderful too. Love all the improvements they have made on and off centro. You spoke about safety and i would agree that it is very safe all day long everywhere.

We have visited before and find that they carry most of the things we buy in the US too. Good to hear that the appliances and other big items are a good deal.

Our apartment was up the hill behind the restaurant. We overlooked Coppel over to the bay view. We were lazy one day and had dinner at this Chinese restaurant and ate just short of stuffed so we could have breakfast leftovers. Very good idea to bring take away containers. I always packed around a fold up cooler as well that I actually bought at Coppel. The Guadalajara store beside Coppel has everything at good prices to get you settled in on arrival. From paper products, food, protein milk and pharmaceuticals. Across the street is my favourite ice cream 🍦 place, very reasonable and I had many visits there leading to weight gain. Our apartment was nice and is available for about $750 US per month. It is for sale for way under $70,000 US. We are spending Nov to Jan in Veracruz, Merida and Progreso. Then Jan in Ixtapa. Feb and March in Zihuatanejo. We booked everything because airfare and accommodations get scarce and more expensive very early. Zihuatanejo is very popular now with tourists.

We got caught bringing ours in a couple years ago. Same drone that you have (maybe a prior model). Anyway, as a precaution we even brought our receipt showing the value ($400) and they made us pay a “tax” which was the equivalent of $75 US. Lucky you! At least they didn’t confiscated it.

We fly on Sun Country Airlines from Minneapolis to Zihuatenajo a direct flight for about $750 round trip. To rent a car and drive to Omaha isn't too expensive. You might think about Sun Country next time you come to the US. We will be in Zihuatenajo in January.

Nice to see you today! We have a small trailer in the Arizona desert 🌵 Lately it has been hot 🥵 like up to 115F. We are back at our apartment in Vancouver Canada now. The trailer…we line the windows with thermal bubble wrap. I turn off water and pour enviro safe antifreeze in toilet and drains to keep sewer gas and sewer cockroaches out. The car gets shade, I take my good tires off and store in a “cooler” darker place. Have spare old tires to put on and leave car blocked up barely touching the ground. Power off. Water filters drained and housings cleaned for easy start up with new filters on return. Our little sweat😅box 📦 trailer is shut down and we have gated community with hired security. I am back in AZ in 60 days. See you in Zihuatanejo next January.
