Well, it's more efficient on the fuel side, shorter runway needed. The price is too high for a non jet prop.

It's quite interesting, it should just have been a single piece carbon fiber balloon with jet engines instead. The Eclipse twin jet has better fuel economy than the piston twin Baron and that just means nothing but jet should be entertained ever. One of the many drawbacks of turboprops is that the Piaggio is not welcome at many airports because of the extreme noise it produces.
