Cool video i just got my first one last week it looked sad..so i put it in my south facing window and mist it daily and rotate it now it looks sadder, lol im about to just leave it and not touch it anymore 😅
I wouldn’t mist it if anything a humidifier may be much better. They are dramatic plants and drop a lot of leaves. They grow back tho. Mine is in an east facing window it gets bright indirect light. I also have a grow light on it (that I’m not consistent with. And there’s an AC that faces it lol. I say all this to say that they don’t need much attention besides watering (when they need it) fertilizing (during the proper months) and pull the dead leaves of (gently never force them) and she’ll be fine

@genegenelovesplants1766 Hey, just an update... she's doing much better! No more dead leave, and they are standing up right. I stop misting and also using a pebble tray, so the humidity is higher and is getting natural lights with some grow lights at night and stopped moving it around and leaving it be

My kids thought I was crazy until I saved a plant and talked to him daily(his name is sassy pants), now he’s big! The kids now talk to my plants and acknowledge them as siblings. My husband said we can have a new baby and I have a snake plant in mind. 😂✌🏾

But how???? That plant so hates to be repotted! It never liked when I did it and eventually died. Never seen a plant with that many skinny plants in one pot. The one I had was one huge trunk with a lot of limbs. I so hated to lose that plant. The leaves look just like Cilantro or rather, parsley.
Well i paid very close attention to the substrate and honestly i just leave her alone. At this date she’s around 7ft i do have to retake her but she’s thriving and i have her next to an AC unit
@@genegenelovesplants1766 Let me rewatch what you used as the substrate. I started watching a channel called Gary's Best Gardening and started mixing up batches of his recipe. I also found a substrate called Kanuma that supposedly acidic plants like, but it might be too much since I will already be using peat.

I need that battery powered wand! My hand is cramping from spraying my BOP all week long. I have been using insecticidal soap, but I’m going to try the alcohol/neem now.
@@joybarr someone just told me Lady bugs are key. Scrape them off follow with the alcohol process then neem oil. I’ll see if u can find the link

My experience with all thos philodendrons that dont have a thicc cuticula like this one and for example choco red or verrucosum u need to put them into some kind ot showcase be it a kind of terrarium or just a place with rly high humidity and im not talking 60-70% im talking 85%+ and lots of indirect light otherwise they will look just like your plant expanding every last bit of stored energy into building new leafs that cant develop right and die shortly after produced and as u can see see is streching rly hard so its to less light hope that helps for the future :)
I’ll try that thank you for the info. This is the only philodendron that is doing that and i have quite a few but im seeing that I’ve been pulling back on watering and now i have two new leaves. Let’s see if they survive lol. Thank u so much fhe comment

Virginia creeper is worse than English ivy. Once established it takes over everywhere.
I wouldn’t use it on my country home i only recommend it for urban scapes and with everything you need maintenance.
