I found my Father after 33 years
The journey to find my father brought me clarity on parts of myself had felt unfulfilled. My behaviors and tendencies towards old patterns to seeing cultural principles that I carry regardless of my direct upbringing. I was able to address a bigger understanding of how my Asian bloodline and my Western bloodline shared both health and unhealthy commonalities.
Overall, my desire for seeing and experiencing the truth about my past and why I have been the ways I have has allowed me to dissolve old cycles and empower myself to create a path that heals myself and creates a lived experience to support others along the way.

Thank you for sharing your journey, the realities of the journey & the encouragement to go after what's on your heart. And I'm so grateful for Your angels! May you/your heart continue to feel supported in this next leg of the journey - integration. I love you, always.
Thank you Sarah
Malcolm, What a courageous journey you undertook. I hope you find some peace in having found your father, even if he will not be part of your life going forward. It is the hero's journey and now you can integrate the missing piece/energy that you have sought. Thank you for sharing this process and following your path always.
Hey Sue, I’m grateful for the people that I have met along the way. To help others bring clarity on their paths, and the challenges, that even though the cultures and circumstances are different, the common grounds to be heard and received in others’ processes. This trip showed me again and again my spark to see people, and what I want to do with my life’s career path moving forward. I want to be a Counselor/Therapist, but not through the traditional methods of clinical therapy. I want to offer a transpersonal approach to healing, but I feel getting a licensure will be useful for giving people more access through insurance. I found a 3 year program online through the Sophia Institute in California that is full-time. The tuition is about 50k, so I will need to create a gofundme to pay for the degree, but I feel ready.
@@TheNamesMalcolm Sounds like a wonderful choice, Malcolm. You have all the qualities one would desire in a transpersonal counselor, and I agree that licensure will give more people access to you. It take life experience to be a good therapist, and you have all the empathy, compassion and deep listening skills that make a good practitioner. Let us know when your GoFundMe page is up.
