Great video. Even makes me miss the JF FC800 we had when I was younger. Sure, it made brilliant silage but it used to get blocked at the drop of a hat lol. Thanks for the memories though. Much appreciated!!

Ok I've been watching European silage making videos all night and I wanna know what's the deal with the super wet silage and big decent sized fields being done with flail type choppers that can't possibly ferment well at those high moisture levels or pack well with that long cut is butryic acid not an issuse those piles gotta be draining juice for days or weeks somebody please explain why this is such a popular method

What a treat to watch excellent video

Some great old machinery in there and a top notch video showing it all off,... however nothing annoys me more than seeing so much forage either hitting the side of the trailer or flying straight over! I'm not sure whether it's bad design or bad operating but it's just such a waste! Especially with the single chops, I mean they're already working very hard for a very narrow breed! If it was my yard I'd either be sacking or modifying!
