I'm an avid gamer who enjoyed 3D-Vision 2 on 1080Ti but nVidia killed it later on and then also removed support for installing 3D drivers on RTX 30 series onwards 😑 Good to see Acer aced it in new 3D Tech! For me, this type of 3D Tech with or without glasses, is way better than those VR headsets because it lets you use your regular computer without complete blockage from real world. Can't stop drooling. 🤤Just snagged one Acer View Pro 27-inch 3D Monitor for now. Awaiting delivery. Will snag a laptop in future when Acer releases an RTX 50 series 3D in 18-inch screen size. 😁 Thanks for the good review! 👍

I am finding that 3D phones are produced in short runs. They very quickly become unavaiable. The ZTE Voyage 3D does not appear in the ZTE store or anywhere else for sale for that matter.

Have you heard anything about Acer spatiallabs eyes camera or Calf visinse 3d? I'm interested in your opinion.

Hi. You really should check out Lume Pad III \ Redmagic Pad 3D, it is available already and for only about $100 more than this "Proma" tablet. There are many reviews on Leia forum already, including mine :) Redmagic Pad 3D is truly the nextgen device, nothing on the market even comes close. And trust me, there are no shaky buttons, fake cameras and suspicious vibrations there :)

Great video! Just one question, can the spatial 3D video captured by the Beam Pro be correctly displayed in 3D on the Lume pad 2?

"Leia's Head just confirmed on the forums that there won't be a Lume Pad 3 or any new models beyond the Lume Pad 2. Instead, they plan to focus on licensing their technology to other manufacturers to 'carry the torch.' The dots are probably from checkerboard mode. Checkerboard mode allows for a higher resolution image to be progressively layered on the screen. Most 3D capable TVs automatically display 3D content in checkerboard because of the higher resolution it can display simultaneously in 3D. Top/bottom mode 3D videos will look nice on this tv.

You're side by side 3D is opposite of what it should be. When I cross my eyes, the 3D goes the wrong way.

Resident Evil Code Veronica X on Dolphin in Native Stereo 3D looks so cool on a 3D plasma, There's so many things jutting from the screen and sticking out in front of the player's field of view: pipes coming into view as Claire Walks down a staircase, The Scientist getting his head bashed in scene, The Submarine emerging from the water when you raised it with the wheel and it comes up with the mast poking out in front of the player. The whole I time was playing it I thought " This would have looked Bonkers with a 3DS port". It probably looks utterly Ridiculous on this TV.

September 2024. There may have been a recent update. In LeiaCam - there is a setting for camera quality. The original high quality for still image is now available 4656x2910 pixels - select Maximal ( slower ) or Standard ( Faster ) for the lower quality of 3840x2400 pixels.

Thanks Josh, for this information. I have just bought a Lume Pad 2 to view my home made 3d clips and image which I have made over the last 10 years. On the clips taken using the Lume Pad 2, I am keen to produce sbs video without loss of resolution, which you get by using the share method. I followed your instructions - it takes me back to doing DOS editing in the days before 'Microsoft Windows' were invented - around 1985. I got some errors and after a few goes , and getting the syntax exactly right, I got it to work on a video clip which was 15 second long. I now have a sbs clip which is 3840x1200 30.00fps bit rate = 27395kbps.

Are these screen protectors also available for Android smartphones?

Great to see someone as enthusiastic as I am about the IPhone being able to record 3D videos. I found it a real shame they didn’t give us 4K 60fps spatial with the 16pm. I’m hoping Samsung step up with a spatial feature with the S25. It would progress things at a much more rapid rate!

You have previously acknowledged that the XREAL Beam Pro produces far better realistic 3D depth than the iPhone 15 Pro (and now iPhone 16). Apple has "improvised" a half-assed 3D photo/video capability with their mismatched cameras that are far too close together for proper eye-distance stereo separation. For those who want to actually capture high quality spatial "memories", you absolutely need to use a dedicated 3D camera with eye-distance lens separation, like the XREAL Beam Pro, QooCam Ego or the new Acer 3D camera. You can then view your 3D photos on your Lume Pad 2 or iPhone with Spatial Glass. Why succumb to the Apple iPhone scam of inferior 3D photos just because it is more "convenient"!

How does the 3D look so accurate if the two lenses on the iPhone are so close together? Wouldn't it have looked better if they were placed about 65mm apart? Why did Apple choose not to do it?
