I think it’s going to be different from seasons we have seen from other games. I think it’s just going to be multiple dlcs a year instead of one big one. I think we will know more in March!!

I’m not sure how the pay scheme is going to work. I think this is what they are going to give more details on in March!

@@hvdiv17 I mean it could still be similar to how they released content in 2014 where you bought the DLC that was just released in chunks too. We will have to wait for Bethesda to say more on how it will work before we know for sure

@Nessaeria What I think its really about, Zenimax taking off road maps is an answer to Valve saying that if developers do not deliver on roadmap promises they will give refunds. So the answer is simple, don't say what you are gonna release yearly so they don't force out a refund from you. Its really sneaky for a 2 billion dollar game.

@ I mean I think that’s still two-sided though. They can deliver smaller chunks that actually work so people get what they paid for, it’s better all around. Plus I still think they will be announcing more details, just in March/April instead of January.

@@michaelp4396 you can always join a guild just to use the trader! Most guilds don’t force people to participate in social activities if they don’t want to. I do wish they would implement an auction system, and maybe with seasons they will be able to do that!

Yes, absolutely!! They changed how that worked at some point this year. Now you exit the house instead of going back to where you were before going so this is a new hack 😊

@@Nessaeria Well, at least you actively respond to many messages here, that is more engagement with people than what ZOS ever does. :D To me it's funny some people still have faith in them, while they have NEVER kept any previous promises about performance etc for the last 7-8 times they made same promises. With that track record of zero times delivered.. how you still have faith in them? Honestly curious. :)

@ I feel that they have made good on some of their promises though which is why I am optimistic. Idk I don’t really play PvP which seems to be where the most grievances are, but I have been part of prog groups that moved on to something else because of bugs. But I still enjoy playing the game 🤷🏻‍♀️ every year they release new systems and content and I enjoy it. I have met people that are amazing in this game. So at the end of the day, eso has given a lot to me and I’m hopeful that I’ll continue enjoying it through this change!

@@Nessaeria They should be ashamed of broken battlegrounds, broken sets, ball groups grinding Cyrodil performance to zero, rubberbanding all over that isn't acknowledged, incessant crashing and hard DCs, completely changing how core skills work on certain classes after 10 years, 10 year old bugs that are still not dealt with, still unfinished hybridization...

@@blktauna idk if they should be ashamed of that, no game is perfect! I do agree that there are bugs that haven’t been addressed and are certainly overdue, but they do have to prioritize somewhere.

Idk I think that they have tried to adapt and have listened to players. They do make improvements and fix bugs, but there are still a lot to go. If the game doesn’t make you happy anymore then def take a break and maybe you don’t play again 🤷🏻‍♀️ I know lots of vets that still play because they just love the game. I’m in the same boat and am excited to see what changes come, but everyone has their own opinion!

@@Nessaeria IF, and I mean IF, this proposed change works It will be a good. However when anyone reminds ZOS about the BS the pulled last time with their rewrite that turned into rethreading that magically faded away with no comment or acknowledgement.... They get a ban in the forums. So pardon me if my scepticism wins here. Also Craglorn started life as a very hard special area and everyone hated it so the turned it into what it is now. So there's that.

@ that may have been before I started playing, I’m not familiar with the rewrite/rethreading. And yes, I know Craglorn was bumpy to start with but I think that’s the benefit of the testing that they plan on doing will help. Idk I may be overly optimistic but I think this could be a good turning point!

Bro fck the difficulty they’ll only put abit more health on bosses and give them all a 1 tap attack or something fact is most of us got all world sets in collection anyways so still pointless to do really can solo pretty much anything on arcanist or 1 bar sorc so wouldn’t mind it but have to make it worth it and yeah this season 💩 im leaving if it’s pay every 3 month if it’s included eso plus fair enough if not uninstall some good games coming out next few month

@@Nessaeria We can always hope for improvements. This is their end of year letter. It is always full of promises that go unfulfilled. They promise to improve performance every year, but they show they can improve performance every year during Midyear Mayhem. They just flex up more servers and that fixes the issue. They just don't want to keep those resources in because it costs money they don't want to spend. They also promise to improve PVP every year at least and never do anything about it. I am trying to stay optimistic about the game but the way they are changing the content delivery doesn't indicate that it is to improve anything other than development costs. They mentioned a gear chase. I don't run end game content anymore because there isn't any reason to. The gear isn't much better than crafted or overworld sets unless you are looking at the support sets then it is worth it. The dmg sets you can get 5-8% more from as opposed to overworld and crafted sets if you are in an optimized group, if you aren't then it doesn't really matter you'll not see those marginal benefits. So what kind of gear is it going to be? It had better be impressively better or there isn't any incentive to it. Anyway I do hope they make good on most of what is written in the letter, if they do the game will be in a better place. However if we look at their past end of year letters they all read about the same.

I'll be bummed out if we don't get at least one one gold coast sizedd zone per year. Guilds I want after big 4. All joinable, evil vampire guild, an evil necro,anger guild join able. Mini game guild focused on brawling. Wamasu and stiltsstrider mounts.

their crown prices are ridiculous, especially for casuals. i feel like they will add season passes like fallout 76 did. another money grab

@ I don’t know what happened with fallout 76, but they do have to make money. My hot take is that the crown store helps fund the game. And, unlike a lot of games, it’s not play to win it’s cosmetic. So if people want to pay money for a cool mount or house, then they should 🤷🏻‍♀️

@@Nessaeria I would be morally ok with funding them with my crown purchases if they weren't shameless scumbags. The issue with the store is deeper than mere cosmetics, pixel houses and scam-boxes. Check all the free in-game items that they're selling in cash store for hefty prices, that constantly scam new players who don't know any better into buying them. When I first started playing with a friend, we both bought inventory bags and skill resets because we thought "If it's in the cash store, surely it's not possible to get them for free in-game". We didn't know it was possible for a popular name like Elder Scrolls to be run by con artists that would use your common sense against you. I've heard many similar encounters from other new players later on, and I can only imagine how many clueless players they've fooled... they must've cashed in quite good over the years.

@Nessaeria Yes, my understanding is that we will still get a new zone but delivered by small bits instead than all at once in June.

Yes, it is! Once you have all 5 keys and the molag imp pet, you can combine them into the Haven of the Five Companions. You can preview the house using the portal at any impressario tent ☺️.

@@Nessaeria I saw that the keys were 10 event tickets each, and getting the imp is around 15 with the pieces, which is more than the 60 for the event...am a bit concerned about that math and if it's possible to still get the house from scratch?

@@yumevermillion6315 Yes, you are right, it would be 65 tickets total for the house if you don't have any keys or the molag imp pet fragments. Normally I think you can get it with the New Life Festival Event unless I am remembering incorrectly. You could purchase the additional 5 tickets with crowns to cover the 5 missing ones!

Yes! You can get them from farming ore nodes, blacksmithing hirelings (blacksmithing skill line passive), and you can also purchase them from guild traders!

Stay tuned!" We're going to have a new zone for 2025, I do hope we will occasionally get new zones past 2025 though as I'd love more Skyrim!
