How do you get a car on the island?
It's easy - there are regular ferry lines between individual islands. We used the Naviera Armas ferry from Tenerife. There is also regular ferry line from Tenerife and Gran Canaria to mainland Spain.

Zdravím, dnešek jsem strávil u televize sledování dvou Vašich videí na LiveMore! Extra. Na Tenerife jsme byli 2x po 14 dnech. Tuto cestu do caldery znám jen po vesnici Vilaflor (nejvýše položená vesnice na Tenerife) hned za ní jsme odbočovali v pravo na prašnou cestu k Paisaije Lunar. My jsme bydleli v Callao Salvaje a proto jsme do caldery přijížděli ze západu kousek od místa kde Vaše video končí. Škoda, že to není na Baluminátech, tam by jste mohl jako základ ponechat jen zvuk motoru :-))))) Díky O. Kilies
Zdravím, dnes je u nás šedivo a lezavo. Tak jsem si pustil vaše video, super pro takový hnusný den jako stvořené. Na 65" televizi je dojem opravdu živý 🙂 Tuto cestu jsme během našeho 14 denního pobytu jeli asi 5x. Poprvé jako výlet k hvězdárnám na Rogue de Los Muchachos, další cesty byli přibližovací pro výstup na Pico de La Nieve (křižovatka odkud se vychází byla na videu pěkně vidět) a k dalším tůrám kolem Caldera de Taburiente. Dnes jsem si záznam cesty užíval, ale v reálu jsem byl někdy unavený a cesta Los Cancajos kde jsme bydleli, se mi zdála nekonečná 🙂 Ještě jednou díky!! O. Kilies

I’m from Jacksonville but I moved out of there awhile back to escape the drama. I loved watching the drive down Atlantic blvd, passing the regency mall and up over the Mathews bridge into downtown…nice video!
Used to make the trip from Phoenix to Vegas once a month back in the 90's before all that security. It was nothing more then lot of winding turns then slow down to cross the dam to 20MPH off to the other side. No security or anything like that then make climb up the grade on the other side. I miss the old days before the country went crazy with security all driven by the defense industry.

Super videjko..překvapilo mě že je tam tak jako mlhavo nebo se mi to jen zdá?..kdy bude nějaké videjko s off road vložkou? Ta příroda k tomu ve spojení s Jeepem přímo vybízí..jak jsi na tom se spotřebou a spolehlivostí? Ještě jsi nepotřeboval servis na ostrově? Pozdravuj a užívejte vánoční náladu!
Čau, offroad vložky budou, hlavně spíš na Baluminátech, ale sem dám taky něco :) Jinak jsem s Jeepem MAXimálně spokojenej. Fakt jsme sem na Tenerife nemohli vybrat líp. Jediný, co mě mrzí, že jsme neměli rozpočet třeba o 200k vyšší, aby jsme mohli koukat po faceliftu. Máme 2013, ale od 2014 jsou facelifty a ty mají už 8mi kvalt převodovku, stejnou jak mám v 300C. Měli jsme v USA asi na měsíc půjčenýho Granda WK2 benzína 3.6 V6 právě s tím 8mi kvaltem a to je sakra jinde. Ten 5ti kvalt, co mají předfacelifty, je starej automat od Mercedesu, co byl třeba v první generaci 300C, v RAMech do roku 2015 apod a na dnešní poměry je přeci jen už nic moc - pomalejší a ty extra kvalty chybí. Ale to je taková prkotina. Spotřeba, když jsme jeli z ČR do Španělska byla lehce pod 9 l/100km, což mi přijde skvělý - auto naložený až po střechu a rychlost na hranici limitů. Tady na Tenerife mám spotřebu od 10,5-12 l/100km. Ale to je těma horama tady a tím, že nejezdím zrovna na spotřebu. Benzín/nafta tady stojí okolo 0,9-1,2 eur za litr, takže člověk spotřebu úplně neřeší :) Servis mě teď čeká - potřebuju udělat destičky a vyměnit olej. Tady kousek mám nějakýho mechanika Čecha, tak to asi dám tam, ať nemusím kupovat nářadí. :) A jinak to mlhavo - to jsou mraky, v tomhle videu vyjíždíme z 2250 mnm a jedem do 0 mnm, takže v určitý části, jak jsou ty lesy, tak projíždíme ty mraky. :) Terka zdraví! Taky pozdravuj a mějte se hezky!

Doporučuji, Amerika je úplně jiný svět :) A do Vegas doporučuji alespoň týden, dva... jeden týden být jen na Stripu :D a zbytek Ameriky minimálně půl roku.

@@petrtichy2786 já byl předloni v Americe v Coloradu a dělali jsme okružní jízdu do Kalifornie přes Vegas, Grand Canyon a spoustu dalších zastávek a zpět za týden....5000km cca a není to dobré... Není čas na nic. Udělat si dovolenou do Ameriky je pomalu na výpověď v práci a vrátit se za rok 😃 já si bral dovolenou měsíc a mohli se zbláznit...
