My man was not gonna give up the ghost! 👊✊💪. This was a great video of real life, big wood, trials and tribulations. It’s easy to showcase how great these machines are by splitting huge pieces effortlessly but the truth is we’re all familiar with the sledge and beating the round off the wedge haha. Man I wish I had a tractor!

Take the time to noodle the big ones you wasted more time fighting the wood and changing the wedge than you would have noodling work smarter not harder

Couple of personal obsevations , I have the same RS 22 splitter . I process a lot of large rounds and with the 4 way in the lowest position the RS 22 will crack any round I can throw on it . Maybe the RS 17 can be considered a re-splirtter but The RS 22 is a beast and it is so much more than a re-splitter . The RS-22 is basically the Compact Commercial without log lift . I use my RS 22 to process big tree service wood and it excells at this . I use my tractor bucket as a lift when neccesary . When splitting smaller rounds the absense of a log lift makes access to the splitter much easier and more convienient . As my primary splitter the RS 22 is perfect for my operation . It is perfection . I need to get that table extension , very nice !

Not gonna lie, some of those ash splits made me kinda jealous that I can't get out to the wood yard this weekend. Hate to see summer dwindling down but it's just about time to fire up the fireplace in the evenings here in northern Indiana again, can't wait!

I'm gonna 100% agree with Todd here, "Re-Split" is totally deceiving. That splitter can hang with the best of them and it's not as heavy as some of the other ones too so you can still man handle it if needed. Cheers buddy, enjoy the day!!!

Ya get a LOT of splits out of the big ones, but that Ash can be some tough splitting. And when the ends dry and get black like that they are like a rock...even the single wedge don't like em....lol.

I haven’t ran a ton of wood through my 17RS yet, but so far some dry Ash gave it the hardest workout.

I’m thinking I would do auto cycle as well. In the yard we have machines for the big stuff. We tip up the big logs to get them to go on my old splitter.

Seems like noodling would be way less handling and safer. Love the splitter with the auto cycle. That would be my choice too.

PETRIFIED ASH!! Those were some challenging rounds! 22RS did great! I think Re-split is kinda deceiving. That splitter is perfectly capable of being anyone’s main splitter! Take care Jeremiah👊🏻
