What's the point of the scrap beacon if you can leave a GPS marker? Doesn't the scrapyard mod disable the "trash cleanup" feature in the base game? Or am I missing something?

I know I'm still a bit late to the date of this video, but I'm enjoying this a lot. I hope making videos is as enjoying for you as it is to watch! Im excited to binge this as I can and see where this series takes you! I hope to see how you manage to get to space and tackle the prototech stuff, I know that can be tough. The only worry now is how you'll manage to get power production for the base. Are you able to build wind turbines or solar panels, or do you have to scrap those?

Your question about the assembler and refinery usage, scenario-wise I would think k the assembler is ok to assemble and disassemble components, but I would say the refineries should only be used to only refine ore you may find or salvage

Would be nice if you could find two small grid solar panels to go on your flyer.

I don't know if you noticed but you're missing one of the two solar panels that you put on the roof. I think the recent panel you put on klanged out with the roof panels that you didn't grind out.

Solar panels on top of the habitation area could be a nice touch.

A good idea would be to build a bridge that crosses the canyon. Maybe you could put some lights on it so you can traverse it at night. Use one of those solar panels to keep the battery charged.

Put glass around the tree and build around it. Kind of like an exhibit in the base. Have a couch facing it and some books. Would be pretty funny.

good video mate, ive done a scrap server like this but havent done it with prototech, its going to be interesting how getting to space then fighting prototech that was is going to be. cant wait to see how it progresses!

Earned a sub from me, I think personally I do like the sped up transitions over the jump cuts, and I like what you’re doing with the music, I think it definitely adds to the video. Really enjoyed it again!

A little confused by the use of the "No Lightning Damage" mod since it's a game option now and disabled by default

Not bad for a first attempt Old Man! Maybe try Normalising your audio when you fist load it in to get it all at the same level. Also be aware of where your mic is, try to keep the same distance and angle from it. :D
