How to make your bike more comfortable! Newcastle Custom Trim added more foam to the existing seat of the editors FJR1300 to make it flatter, fatter and taller, improving seat to footpeg distance for less knee bend, something he appreciates being tall. Newcastle Custom Trim can also make seats lower for shorter riders, build custom seats for special builds and lots more. newcastlecustomtrim.com.au

Australian Road Rider Draggin Jeans review
Love my R18 TC . Best birk I have ever owned. I have 3 BMW at this moment.
Biggest gripe: The price is daylight robbery when compared to the BMW R18B!
Can you use it for a rear view camera?
Best place to order from in Australia?
can you easily remove the W702 for security when you park your bike?
Thank you sir, nice review
Me too, I can't figure out how much gas I have in the tank, so I sold it 😵💫
In germany its not a problem. Every few miles a gas Station
We are about to land on Mars. We are about to have robots running around everywhere. We have naval vessles that can stay under water indefinitely. We can form small black holes in a giant tube. Do you think maybe we can get a fuel gauge on a motorcycle?
I went with the Road Glide because it looked better in my opinion.
Well. First comment on a YT clip. Wowee!I know it’s 3 years on but I can tell you I rode a test bike alongside the salesman who had an identical model. I liked the idea of a massive opposed twin. Lots of torque. Well the bike I rode had a strange clutch take up when moving away and when stationary with the clutch lever out, either in gear or neutral, there was a knocking noise and an in sync vibration that went away the moment the clutch was pulled in. The sales guys bike did not display this. I was told that there was a torque limiting device in the clutch a bit like a slipper set up but the details could not be made clear. The bike was inspected by their tech guy later and he said that the noise and vibratory knock was normal. Unusual as the salesman’s own bike showed no sign of similar noises. BMW parts diagrams show the clutch as a component group with the only individual parts being some screws. The diagram is very rudimentary and shows no relevant detail. One can only presume that the screws are available for technicians who might disassemble the clutch and can’t be re used. What the point of this would be if no other parts are available is outside my experience. The friction plate is not available as a seperate part nor is the torque limiting mechanism which it is assumed is part of the clutch component group and I suspect the source of the noise/ vibration/knocking. The clutch group price is frightening. I could only find an online price in the UK and that was nearly 1600 GB pounds. The riding position is very uncomfortable and that does not foster safe machine control. I wanted to like the bike but it was the worst motorcycle riding experience I have had. And all the more disappointing as I have been a lifelong BM guy. Apart from the mechanical issue a taller more forward riders seat would have nearly made the ride perfect. I suppose what I would have liked was an R nine T with the R18 engine, a 70s universal German motorcycle with seeming limitless torque. My goal would be to get increased torque without increased revs and so the idea of a massive twin sounded attractive.
This should be kept away from kids and teenagers
I keep hearing its a brand new bike with no part's from the old one. Except the oil filter i guess 😂😂😂
Does zx10r have any sort of restrictions to throttle in terms of dead zone between some rpm’s Maybe it’s only for the US models ?
Well it’s priced over the cost of the Honda XR650 and the Suzuki DR650 and I’d bet everyone would choose one of those and have that extra $2k to spend on accessories.
Those are dual sport. Different category. Adventure would require range as well as cruising.
Can’t buy either of those bikes new in Australia anymore. Also when the dr650 was still sold here it was more expensive than this bike..
The price is Australian Dollars
A detailed video on putting those crash bars on would be awesome
air cooled?? Hello!! It is liquid cooled - observe the panel in front of the engine.
That’s odd most motorcycle reviews say the brakes on the ZX-10R 2021 are “wooden” and the ABS intervenes too much. I have never heard of them being described as awesome!
Not sure a round town bar hopper bike needs a 1800cc bike. The road king has a bigger fuel tank and you can add the windshield and still see the speedo at least…..These bikes are selling at huge discounts at the local,BMW dealership where I live 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
And Harley Quality is shit. Especially the Suspension. BMW is a piece of Art and perfection
I do like my r18 but the seat and the horrible stiff suspension is killing my love for this bike
'PromoSM'
Sorry, there is no touring capability with this bike. They DID NOT listen to the customer! 4 gallon tank and no fuel-gauge. I had the Classic and sold it due to those two things being a BIG limitation. Shame that BMW begs for an owners opinions and totally ignores the biggest reason people don't buy it in the first place.
How was the wind protection on R18C? There are people complaining about wind buffeting which could be the most limiting factor for highway touring. I can live with no fuel gauge and small tanks, because I own an iron 883 and r nine t; what a ritual to shake the bike and feel the range.
@duosable I found the windshield on the Classic to be about a 7.5 to 8.25 out of 10. I am 5' 7" tall, btw. I also had footpegs instead of floorboards if you want to know. They were probably less comfortable than floorboards, but way more room to reach shifter.
@@duosableI had a Road King before the GSA, the large tank and fuel gauge were a must for me but I threw the windshield away. The GSA had it all but I do like cruisers, if this thing gets a bigger tank and a fuel gauge . .. well I just might . . . and then there’s the suspension travel, the Harley had nearly none and the GSA had over three times as much. Maybe I’ll just get a GS instead 😂😂😂
If those two things are such a game breaker for you then why did you buy one ?… it not like they keep it a secret until you buy one.
@johncleaver4245 I thought I could live with it. I really enjoyed it as a highway bike until I tried to actually use it for that purpose. Those two things I thought I could live with quickly became its Achilles heel. And then there was this. I spend a lot of time away from home, and when I did want to ride. I could never remember the last time I fueled.
Lovely looking bike, very pricey though. I have a 2022 Harley Street Bob 114 which is a great bike but I must admit if I had lots of money......
6:00 damn thats a cool bike passing
A great review. Ill buy BUT will be looking for a suspension upgrade methinks
air cooled...surely its air and oil cooled, hence the radiator
Thank you for this informative video. I have instantly subscribed to your channel. Just one correction, the Super Meteor is not air cooled, but air/oil cooled.
Hey, you're correct… although most 'air-cooled' new motorcycles are technically 'air-oil' cooled (indeed, a primary function of oil is to cool the engine, even in bikes which don't have an oil cooler). That said, I take your point.
GREAT review. WELL done. THANK YOU.
Where can I buy single-seater tail nail and license plate holder thanks
Top video mate. It's nice to see Australian contents on you tube
Great quick review, cheers mate
Nice review mate

I put oh a Givi medium windscreen... great...
Triumph 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
How can someone not fall in love with this ❤️.
The dirty ear plugs were a nice touch.
I’m from Newcastle England and own a 690 SMCR. I’d love a Newcastle KTM workshop mat like the one in the video.
Damn I'd love me one of those.
Still can't get over that plastic round the tank on the new gen 3 just hate the look of it, i have had the gen 1 and now have a gen 2 all Black but that plastic puts me off the latest version. Maybe the gen 4 will do it for me with trellis hopefully coming back
Kl
Super bike 😍 i love it

Yes, Thank God I will buy one for myself

What a bike..could you guys ship to the USA..what that cost? Ktm rules the world..
just look up your nearest ktm dealer. im buying my 2022 390 in april already got it reserved
@@jesusnieves2170 that 390 is freaking awesome 👌 👏 👍
I had one of these - black - for 14 months and about 15000km. Great first bike, and flawless. My mods were CRG Lanesplitter mirrors, the then accessory seat (which I think became standard in the later cafe variant), Mustard tail tidy and better/brighter/hotter front light globe.
Ah, my local KTM dealer at Warner’s Bay. Nice folk.
Very Nice !
Is it for sale ?
Hello guys happy new year I bought my 2020 super duke last year from you guys, nothing but a good experience thank you.
