This game does not need light, it lives by the darkness. So ray tracing is ruled out.

@SnakeEngine Ray Traced GI and Reflections would add so much more depth and horror to the atmosphere. It would also give surfaces more umph and remove that plastic feel that Doom 3 has. Just my opinion as an artist and Doom fan.

Hard edges though, if there only was a way to soften them, then it would be superb.

I don’t think there’s a message of racism. I think the redesign is to just to make him fit in more as the supermarket butcher in a small American town. It does seem a lot of people are upset about this however

A lot of it has been changed due to modern day censorship. I don’t think any of it was too over the top back in 2006 or even now. But that just seems to be how things are going. The game also asks you to input your age at the beginning

Zombies are clipping all over the place and even disappearing when outside your field of view. The performance is so poor! Everything seems so disconnected and so far from reality it undermines the serious tone that they were going for. Its 2024 all the cheesiness from the original game has lost its appeal. Gamers need more than what was offered here. The driving mechanics are horrible and outdated, most of the combat animations are horrible and repetitive..They should have made a new game. Leave frank and Willamette alone. All the stuff they got away with back then isn't going to fly anymore. They already released a graphical upgrade for this game in a previous remaster.. what they should have done is practice adding in new elements to dead rising.. like making the guns more realistic. The handgun has 30 shots with a standard magazine that's dumb the uzi has 100 rounds with a standard magazine that's dumb. Why not tighten that up by adding a drum. Why not give us options to choose how we can customize our guns at the gunstore. How about they tighten up the driving mechanics and give zombies more variety and death animations. None of what they did really justify them calling this a deluxe remaster. Its trash honestly.

They seriously out here charging full price for a re-re-realease. Wtf and hiding skins behind paywalls after we bought their garbage dead rising 4 after being underwhelmed by dead rising 3.. why do we keep giving them chances I'll never understand

Considering how expensive modern games are nowadays I’m pleasantly surprised they didn’t charge £60. I managed to buy it for £32.99 which I’m happy with.

My winning run was 4 years in the making (: I turned off the music as per your advice, copied your strat for the green thorns area and just let the platforms mostly rotate instead of trying to make the crazy jumps to get through it fast. After that I just practiced all the courses after that enough times to where I could get through them without taking a hit consistently instead of trying to get through them fast.

@@DrAce461 lol it wasn’t just 4 straight years tbh. I took about two years off because I smashed a controller out of frustration. But I got demotivated once Astro bot came out to finally finish it
