A quick little video to showcase these two fantastic bikes. Please subscribe if you like the video. We'll be taking these ice fishing this winter! There have been a couple requests on the custom windshields. They're called the Jimbo Shield and can be ordered through Trailwaycafe. You just email Jim and he'll send you product information and how to order. His email is trailwaycafe@cox.net and he...

Beautiful shots of Lake Minnetonka at night.
Awesome video! Excellent choice of upgrades. Only thing id do differently is the mirrors. I prefer foldable mirrors to fold them out of the way while on the trails.
Ive never been mice fishing. But this is the bike to do it on.
Thanks for this excellent video on TW accessories! You got to the point quickly, provided great explanations, and even showed the Amazon pages so we can know exactly which item it is. Super helpful!
How much was the deflector
Bring it to Europe Yamaha! Make it injection don't care, just bring it to Europe.
Grizzly adams
I just bought 2 of these so my son and I could start riding.
That is fantastic!
OK......Music.....or Talking! Pick one.
Yeah, if I put out any new videos, I'll change the music in the background. It's a challenge to manage voice/music levels since it all changes based on sound card and computer settings. Thanks for the comment.
I cant find the headlight guard on ebay. Do you have a link?
I just took a look online and they must be out of stock right now. The part number is Moose Racing 2001-0682.
I’d say Grizzly Adams, but Im pretty sure old #7 was a mule, not a donkey
Spot on! You're one for details. Number seven was a mule, but I thought "donkey" had a better ring to it for a utility bike. Thanks for the comment.
@@dadsdoingstuff355 Kawasaki already makes a Mule for utility. Nice job on the sensible, non-expensive, mods. Nice info. Maybe you need the kick-starter mod for the donkey 😉
Hi, Dads,amazing footage~ 🤟
Thank you!
Do you have the part # for that headlight guard? Not finding one on their site for the TW. Thx
I think it's Moose Racing 2001-0682. I added the screen shot to the video. Thanks for the comment.
Keep the tw videos coming. Everyone who owns one wants to see them on video
I have big plans. Added an Intech Flyer Explore toy hauler to the mix for some more content. Things have been busy, but I'll be back.
I’m going to guess grizzly adams. You had the grizzly and #7 the donkey
Best show ever!
I'm surprised you didn't go for 3Dub200's switch setup - it mounts around the instrument light cluster and also has room for a 12V power plug. You can get them with 1, 2 or 3 switches - I have mine set up with a voltmeter/USB outlet and the switch controls my 3Dub200 light bar (as opposed to the light pods).
I tried to get the jimbo shield. I couldn’t find it. Send me a link to the Jimbo shield.
He doesn't have a website and you need to email him directly. I added the email to the video when I discuss the windshield.
What bracket did you use for the fog lights?
Thanks for the question. I used the existing reflector bracket that came with the Yamaha TW200.
Should be DONKEY and KONG.
That would have been perfect!!!
You are a great dad! Looks like you got some great kids too! One question, are you going to get one too or have you already? I’m definitely getting one!
I don't really have room right now but I did get a little toy hauler to pair with these two bikes. I'll be doing a video on that in a couple weeks.
You've set those bikes up wicked sweet! Thanks for sharing your mods and providing the websites!!
That rear rack's perfect!! Thanks for showing it; I'll be ordering one myself!
Kilometers per liter ?
If my math is right, it's about 33 km/liter.
Great video I’m definitely getting some of that stuff for mine. I bought mine to haul around on my adventure van on a hitch carrier
Amazon has a little light bar kit made specific for this bike that goes in between where your front lights are mounted it’s pretty cool and affordable
That's awesome! You'll have to send a picture once you pick it up.
i looked for that bad on ogio. i couldnt find it. can you send a link ? great video
Here's the link but it looks like it's now unavailable. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0036GGFV8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
@@dadsdoingstuff355 thanks. I just bought a TW and looking for storage and that one looked cool. I will search similar ones.
They had electric start in 87 too.
You want to enjoy your kids for decades to come ? Lose 100 lbs. Sorry buddy, love ya.
True that. In fact, you tee up a few new videos I'm in the process of working on. An old friend and I have started the Keto journey with some intermittent fasting. I'm about a month in and seeing some results. Just finished a 40hr fast. We'll be getting something posted regarding it soon.
@@dadsdoingstuff355 So proud of you, keep it up, especially during lent 40 days . But don't stop , because you will yo yo back up plus 25 lbs. Sad but that's how it works.
Love my Tdub, tricked out just like yours. Ummm...Grizzly Adams and Donkey from from Shrek?
Grizzly Adams, yes! And ol' number seven, Mad Jack's donkey from the same show. Thanks for the comment!
Watched a few of your videos. Couldn't finish this one. Music was way too loud and distracting when you were talking.
I understand what you're saying. Recently I noticed the music audio levels seem to be higher than when I made it. I'm looking into adjusting it but I don't know if that requires re-uploading the video. Thanks for the feedback.
Hello from Robbinsdale. Thought I recognized the lake in the background. Went to your previous videos to verify. I'm 64 and have had my TW since 2001. No issues or problems at all. One of my great joys in life is back road and trail riding my TW in northern Minnesota.
Hello fellow Minnesotan. These bikes are terrific and I'm glad that you've had years of service from your mighty TW!
Great video! I used my TW200 to teach my kids to ride. It’s such a great bike! I don’t think I’d ever sell mine.
Totally agree!
Wow 👏 That's awesome man. I wanted the Electric 1987 model. Seeing this video has given me the fever again. I'm 56 and I'm a pretty big guy. Thanks for the video. I did subscribe and looking forward to more videos.
Right on! I'll be getting on the frozen lake soon for some ice fishing once they plow me some roads.
Hello from a fellow Minnesotan with a T-Dub! Started modding the T-Dub with a Jimbo shield.
You will not regret the Jimbo shield--stay warm!
Grizzly Adams
TW rider here, also. So, I would guess Donkey is from Shrek. Don't know on Grizzly.
Good answer and thanks for the comment. Grizzly and Donkey comes from the 80's TV show Grizzly Adams.
OMG. In the high desert of So. Ca. & not riding cuz its been in the low 60s. Now i feel like a wimp!
good video! what years are your TW's?
They are both 2022s. I bought them in 2021 but had to wait six months until I got them. Thanks for the comment!
It is not just good for beginners, it is also good for older riders getting back into bikes again. I have some farmland, and unlike dedicated farm bikes, this one is road legal.
Very true! Thanks for the comment.
Fun fact, I live in North Pole, Alaska. No joke, it’s located just outside of Fairbanks. I’m having a heckuva time tracking down one TW200 and you’ve got two. Mind me asking what you paid for them?
I picked them up for about $4695.00 each, but I had to wait for them for almost 6 months after I handed them my Honda Africa Twin on trade.
Great 👍keep it up 😊
DAD of the YEAR !!!(For Sure !) I love my TWs, The most unpretentious Lil motorized donkeys ever. I have had more fun with them fellowshipping with friends in strange places without all the high horsepower, high speed, most noise, temptation for competition etc. Quiet, compact, simple, attractive looking lil-workhorses. Ride Well!
Thanks so much! We love getting out whenever we can. Thanks for the comment!
Grizzly Adams possibly and .....? uhhh,,, I cant think of one for DONKEY unless it is the book Brighty of the Grand Canyon.. Wow K.B. What a great video for the overview of modding a Mighty Lil TW. The trailwaycafe Sport Shield (AKA Jimbo Shield) is my product so I have a bias of coarse. You really did a great job on this vid, even excluding the shield. I would like to see some ice fishing adventures. Very likable presintation. Thank You for sharing your fondness for good things. Jimbo C. Ride Well !
Grizzly Adams indeed. Don't tell me you forgot about ol' Number 7, Mad Jack's donkey. 😁 By the way, I love your shield on the bikes. Great product and it's so cool to see you here!!!
Good to see a Jimbo Shield being promoted. Also, Precision Racks was nice to see as well. Both of these products are made within a few miles of my home, and I was able to pick them up in person to save on shipping.
They are both well-made and I'm happy to show them off.
Good job finding two TW200's for sale!
My local dealer had two committed from Yamaha. I grabbed them in April and then had to wait for delivery in September 2021. Even still, I do feel lucky I was able to score two of them. Thanks for the comment!
@@dadsdoingstuff355 No worries! I was on the list for a new one last year but they found a 2017 with low miles so I pounced on that
Huh glad I read that you had to wait for them. I can pick one up this weekend but it’s 250 miles away or I can wait on one from my local shop they know is coming but no idea when. I mean it prob wouldn’t be as bad a wait as in 2021 but I’m not chancing it.road trip this weekend it is.calling to put the deposit on it in an hour
@@MikeSmith-ey7ku Awesome, you'll be happy you made the trip.
Hello, I like the video. Don’t mean-to-be picky here, but! the music playing while you are speaking It’s somewhat distracting. Anyway’s Cheers…
Thanks for the comment. I've noticed that audio levels vary across mediums. I tried to find a good balance between viewing on TV, PC, and phone. I completely understand the point and appreciate the feedback. It comes down to style and I love a backing track in most cases. I'm creating a video right now regarding TW200 customization and accessories. I'll probably try my best to avoid the background music in this case. I'll definitely keep this in mind for future videos--thanks! If you do like what you've seen so far, please subscribe. I'll be taking these ice fishing this year!
I tried and tried, but I couldn't help but add music to the new video. I just really love some background music. I did try to lower the level based on some of your feedback. Thanks!
I Wana get me a TW200 so bad so I can enjoy these WV country roads/dirt roads
If you do, you'll never regret it. Thanks for the comment!
100 %
It has always had an electric start. The just got rid of the kick in 2001.
I stand corrected. Thanks for the comment! I have to say, I wish they had kept it.
Where did you get those windshields? Could you give the manufacturer's name and a link to order these. Thanks, great video!
Yeah, the windshields are awesome! As soon as we got them, we were in love. They also only took a couple minutes to install. They're made by a guy in California. You just email him, and he'll send you all the info on how to get them. I'll leave the info in the video description above.
...and please remember to subscribe if you don't mind.
theyre made by Jimbo Windshields. i have one on mine and i love it... especially since i spend a lot of time over 35 mph.
純正のTW200格好いい✨
Great review! I like the added windscreen with the bark-busters ...looks cool!
