Sadly mine doesn't match with the Wahoo Element Bolt v2
Go onto the Raveman website you’ll still be able to use it with an adapter they sell.
Is that a HGT? 😮
It is indeed. Check out the video on my channel
@Quattro_Joe Will do! I used to have a W plate verde green one, Really miss it tbh. So underrated and like unicorns now.
Joe, I've owned an s63 previously and currently own a s560. Same engines and did a stage 1 tune on my 560, so I'm within 30hp of my stock s63. Question though, how can I modify my s560 to sound like my s63....with the crackling/popping like this vid? Is there an alternate way to discuss? thx
To get the close to the sound you’ll probably need some exhaust mods. Bigger downpipes, high flow cats and some aftermarket mufflers should free up a lot of that noise for you. I’d do downpipes and cats first to see if I like it
@@Quattro_Joe ok, thank you
away whats the story , cheers for the vidio save us a few $
Hallo, where you have buy the Olight rear light. Thanks
Hi I picked it up on Amazon. Around €25 I think it was
Do you selling??
The car it was in is sold. The stereo went with it. Check eBay you should be able to find one easily enough
Hello! How much does it weigh?
7.8kg I think. But I haven’t weighed it in a while. Started out at 9.4kg
Trade up series here we come!
Just a little bit 😁
I did this as well but still scratched the light. Dont know if the adapter would prevent that
I have both of these but took the light off because it seemed to not fit the Element roam well. It locked in but caused some damage to the body of the light(scratches) and it seems to get stuck a few times. Is this Normal or do i need a adaptor to hook the light and the wahoo together?
There is an adapter but I didn’t bother with it as it was costing me nearly €50 with post and taxes. I didn’t mind the mark it leaves.
I have done the same updats and its batter them more expensive carbon bick.
Agreed. I like the fact that I’ve improved the bike to the way I want it.
On my car it shows zero, what could it be? The car has oil
Oil level sensor is faulty by the sound of it. I’d have to do some checking to see whats involved in changing it.
Ah no way not another one 😭 first project 40 now you as well.... I might have to start a channel just to keep the hgt spirit alive 😆 I liked your videos especially because mine is the same colour as yours
I’ll have some more content on the channel while I work my way to getting something yummy again 👍
What's the next money pit gonna be Joe?
Buy and sell a few other cars and then I’ll try get a mk3 VR6
@@Quattro_Joe YES!! I like the sound of that.
End of an era! What’s next?
Going to buy a few cars to flip and then go for a VR6 😁
great video, but i didn't see you changing oil filter? ... from Mother Land South Africa.
How do you find the oil? I was going to switch over but with all those silly oil wear tests on youtube im not sure, its also designed for left hand drive windscreen.
I’ve used Moly in all of my cars since about 2006 after a recommendation from Mercedes master tech I know. I’ve used moly in my 2 E36 M3’s an E46 M3 a Mazda 3 MPS a Mk5 GTI a Celica VVTLi an Audi A3 2.0 TDI the A6 v6 TDI , the Punto HGT as well as a few others. I’ve tracked the 3 BMW M3’s and had zero issues. The engines run smooth and quiet all the time. The only cars I’ve owned during that time that I haven’t used Moly in were an EK9 type a DC2 type R and an R32 GTR. I used Motul in those as I was part of a group buy and got a good deal. motul is brilliant oil but very expensive here in Ireland. Moly is just as good but more affordable.
Would you add the mos2 liqui moly to the 4200 top tec as well? I want to put it in my audi a5 2.0tdi, I feel the service/mechanics use the cheapest oil they can find maybe I'm wrong.. I first saw the mos2 additive and I bought some and I'm seeing a whole lineup of liqui moly online lately. You would recommend then ya? Is it ok to add the mos2 as well to the moly oil? Cheers for reply👍🏻
@@6900pilot I’d have no worries putting the correct grade Moly in any car. Check what the manufacturer recommends in your handbook and go buy the correct grade Moly for your A5. Your car will run fine on it. 👍
@@Quattro_Joe would it be ok to add the mos2 as well?
@@6900pilot i reckon the oil alone would be more than enough for your engine.
I want this 😢😢😢❤❤❤❤❤❤
Very nice whiskey but hard to come by. Go for a Jameson 18 year old. Similar money but a much smoother whiskey 👍
Quality video😊
Thanks very much. I hope it helped 👍👍
Glad you posted this Joe, just dropped the ARB off mine and was wondering how to get the inner brackets off. How do you find the purple bushes on the road? I've got to decide which colour bushes to team up with an Ultra Racing 24mm ARB (didnt even know these existed 'til a few weeks back), and hope I can widen the hole nice and cleanly. 😅
The Purple feel great on the road. I live in an area with plenty of speed bumps and ramps so I was hoping they wouldn’t be too harsh but they really are fine. You only realise the benefit of them when you start to push on a bit. The front of the car feels so much more direct and responsive. The brace would help a lot in that regard too. I still have the rear beam bushings to fit I just haven’t gotten round to it. Waiting on the front part of the exhaust as my flexi is toast and leaking.
@@Quattro_Joe cheers for the feedback! I've ended up ordering the black ARB bushes so I'll see how they are. I'm planning purple everywhere else and have the rear beam bushes done already. It was definitely a noticeable improvement when they went on! Good luck with the exhaust!
@@hgtabarth cheers. I’m really looking forward to getting the rear beam done. The exhaust I’ll get done in winter. BUT!! I have been toying with the idea of a turbo. Still just doing research and seeing how much it’ll cost and how difficult it would be to map. But I’ll do my research and take it from there
@@Quattro_Joe Hi Joe, thought I'd replied to this a while back but it mustn't of liked the link I put in haha. I think there was a guy called Iceman or similar from the Netherlands that had a turbo'd one back in the day. If you Google Iceman Punto Turbo a Guy Croft thread link should pop up...however reading through that now it may have just been NA! 😅 There was a guy thinking about going turbo, eying up a Bravo exhaust manifold at one point as it went 4 straight down to 1 so maybe worth looking into, fabricating one might actually be easier than finding one now though?! Another lad I've met from Stafford has a Euro 2 HGT he imported from Japan recently, that's been converted to standalone management. Could ask him if he minds chatting with you about it. Meanwhile I successfully did 2 laps at Anglesey last month before my engine started rattling like 💩, combined with a lightly battered drivers side my Punto motivation is exceptionally low at the moment. 😆
Hi. Thanks but how to I remove that net? I got cover off but net I don't see where and want total boot space.
There’s a button/latch on either side of the cartridge that the net is stored in. Just push that and you can remove it altogether and your A6 is now a van
@@Quattro_Joe Thanks but my one actually only slides off, no push buttons on each side, managed today only. Pish button one is just for the boot cover, net cover is separate and slides off to right side but both seats need be down 🙂 Thanks for trying to help, much appreciated.
@@miar600 I could’ve sworn mine had a button I’ll check it again. But happy to hear you got sorted 👍👍
Süper 👍
can fit to stock elevent V2 mount? or need different adaptor??
I had a look online I this it’ll for the stock V2 mount.
How much is the price?
Around €100 to €120 👍

You should get another M3 and go back with it
I might just do that. I’ll try talk the wife round to getting an M5. Practicality comes first 🤣🤣
I don't hear diesel sound,so variator is in good shape :)
Yep all good on that end. Engine has good compression too so I’m a happy camper 👍👍
Great video buddy
Thanks very much. Glad you liked it
But it complicates me... I still use my phone. 😢
Looks easy enough. Definitely considering this for the prelude!
does it fit on Linea Tjet
The kit I got was marked for the Punto HGT and the Alfa 147. Check the website for the fitment you need there are plenty of options.
As a proud owner of a regular mk2 Fiat Punto, I'm already liking this video.
Thank you very much I hope you enjoy the videos 👍👍
Is this the Roam V2 or the original?
I think it’s a V2. I’ll check the box and come back to you.
This is on my list after getting the rust sorted on mine 😂
Absolute must Tom. The front of the car is transformed
Original
Head gasket issue possibly
Small bit of engine sweat is all that was.
Same slime appeared with mobil oil. Has something to do with cold starts and the oil cap/tube is far away from heat and condensates that slime. Nothing wrong with headgasket.
Great car i own a punto hgt 2002 abarth and man the fun u have with this car is insane love the vid❤

@@Quattro_Joe i already find it i was Only find one to abarth 500 but Thanks 👍
I have the same Wahoo and FR160. You are not using the proper Wahoo adapter that comes separately the FR160, which is why it doesn't click in nicely, why you have a round scratch on the top of the Raveman caused by rubbing against the Wahoo, and why the two aren't lined up correctly in the same direction. That's exactly how my FR160/Wahoo pair looked before I swapped the proper Wahoo mounts, which you can buy for $3 from Raveman (part no. QTM01). The Garmin and Wahoo mounting systems look similar in design which can be deceiving. They are different in that the Garmin mounting points are much shallower, which is why you will find yourself having to jam the Wahoo computer and twist it HARD just to get it to engage. You're also risking eventually snapping off the mounting bracket on the bottom of your Wahoo, which would be bad
It fits fine on it. I see what you mean about the mark on the light but I can live with that. It’s not very hard to fit of and 5000km later it hasn’t budged either with a need to buy any different bracket. There’s zero chance of the wahoo mount snapping I don’t need to force it at all to fit it
Won’t work with my Elemnt Bolt v2
And won’t connect to the wahoo out front Mount without an adapter also
I know there’s adaptors that can be bought. Is the V2 case a bit bulkier or totally different
I purchased a 1969 Benrus watch. I’m still waiting for it to arrive. Purchased in eBay. Hopefully it’s in a usable condition. Looks just like this.
I didn’t buy a Benrus due to the mental taxes involved when shipping it from the US. Hope it arrives all well they are a lovely watch.
Finally bought one of these for the punto. Looking forward to installing it next week!
Happy days it’s such a good upgrade and supple to fit 👍👍
@@Quattro_Joe It didn't come with instructions though annoyingly.
@@Project40Cars there should be enough in the video to get you through. Its very straight forward

I do indeed. Plenty of parts to go on it too. Just haven’t had a chance to get near it with crap weather and the kids were a bit sick.
All the best , I'll be watching out for your videos ,,,,, my HGT is the same color as yours. Cheers .
@@dookieday1 ah sweet. Next lot of mods will include a full polybush kit and maybe some coilovers
@@Quattro_Joe can't wait for that one.
Brings back memories. When Corona hits I drove a stock 1.2 8v Punto facelift on the Nordschleife for 100+ laps for 2 years. It helped a lot to learn the track in and out and drive it cleaner as there was way less traffic. I always said if it breaks it breaks but it never did. Was absolutely sending it. Engine was very reliable. Sold it end of 2022 and got something faster.
100 + laps in a Punto. That’s commendable sir. I bet you know the track very well after that. I’ve got some more mods to go on which should improve my track driving experience. I’ll be at Mondello park this summer to get a little better at track driving
@@Quattro_Joe It did indeed helped learn the track more. I knew the track only from games. I knew where to go but in games the elevation and many blind crest you don't have in games. Driving with such a slow car speeds like that helped a lot. Like getting used to the g forced and elevation. Helped me to drive cleaner. In 2023 I mostly only drove in the wet and spectated more. When the track is dry the traffic is way to much. Mods should help like coilovers, good tires etc for the punto. Never drove Mondello but you are from the UK right? You got many amazing tracks over there that are perfect for the punto. Don't sleep on them. I am planning on building a tracktool around july if I have time. Then also visit many UK tracks.
@@fabz_______1242 I’m not from the UK I’m from Ireland. Try not to confuse the 2 😂😂. I felt o was able to enjoy my drive more due to the car being relatively slow. If I’d had an M3 or R32 skyline both of which I’ve previously owned, then the lap Would’ve been a bit scarier.
@@Quattro_Joe Oh I thought you are from England mb 😂 Actually my favorite rally driver comes from Ireland. Love Irish Rallying. Yeah but with a slow car on the nordschleife and in the summer there are so many cars that you can't really drive a clean line because you constantly getting overtaken by porsche and bmw's and have to move over. Only way you could get lucky to get a more free track is when you are there at 8 am when the track opens or drive a trackday. Something around atleast 180 hp will be better with a full track setup.
I just took mine apart and there isn't a center screw. weird
I just knocked it out gently with one of the screws and then was able to adjust
Is there a catch or some pins you could remove instead of a screw
Just picked up a C7.5. Great little guide, thank you. How can turn the radio off but still listen to the satnav? Drove me nuts yesterday trying to get out of a city centre
I’m pretty sure if you just tap the volume dial in the centre console it’ll mute the radio but not the nav. I’ll check that out to confirm
Used to own the car a few years back. Would u sell it ?
I would if the money was right. I’ve done a lot of work to it since I got it. Have a look through the videos and see what you think. I have a figure in my head as to what it’s worth so maybe we can come to a deal. I’ve also a few parts here I haven’t fitted that will go With the car should I sell it
@@Quattro_Joe Yeah I’ve seen the videos i never really drove the car and neither did the guy i bought it from we both just had it in the shed for years
