Why do architects need to screw up the symmetry of every new building?
Why does it need to be asymmetrical? It looks stupid.
Awesome addition to the skyline, but who thought it would be a good idea to put it right next to the Chrysler Building? it'll block the views. I do feel like historic skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building and a few others to not get their view blocked up by bigger more modern skyscrapers because of their views and to have the historic skyscrapers have more "breathing space"

I've always thought this same thought..so I went and researched cause I was trying to move out sunset plaza now my old place triple in prize! Crayyy but ie, Hollywood Blvd LITERALLY runs down a platonic plate : earthquake hence why Hollywood is so scarce with high rises or any since all are under 12 floors but yeah
@@evan_delmar with how far technology has come, they have earthquake proof technology and therefore I'd love to see more skyscrapers. Or at least half the size of the skyscrapers in downtown and century city. I'd love to see more high rises in Pasadena. I do prefer San Francisco to Los Angeles because of so many people always out and about, walking everywhere. So many walkways and little parks. Similar yet different to new york too. Everything at your door step and I feel that it's the only city where I can walk outside, late at night and feel safe. Because there's always a few people in every corner at all hours. Benefits of a city that never sleeps. So where have you moved to now? Pasadena or Los Feliz is my favourite two neighbourhoods that's in Los Angeles or the county. If you're going very far but still in the county, I'd prefer Malibu
Its good LA is building more skyscrapers. It seems they had been stucked. Finally
This building isn't stalled. It is being built as a consolidated New York headquarters for Citadel, which is is the current occupant of the buildings that will be demolished on site. Citadel will move out at the end of 2025, by which time this building will have gained city approvals. That process also begins next year. Once Citadel moves out, demolition can begin, and the new tower can rise once that is complete.

1) earthquakes 2) looks a little top-heavy (earthquakes) 3) is there a picture of it in the full skyline (from a distance)?
Plenty of larger buildings have been built in similar earthquake zones, and I couldn’t find any

hi. Actually this one is already approved. The air rights were bought last year. It is in the same condition as the Commodore. But damn, it gets me sick that it will take a lot of time. I Hope at least they can approve the Tower fifth

The 350 park avenue 2024 design ( 488m) WILL BE INSANE ! I think that skyscraper has already been approved, but will be finished within 8 years. 175 park avenue is tremendous too. Perhaps soon you can make a video about both of them
Thank you very much Man. It is kind of strange, because if it was with 0 % of chances, it already would have been cancelled. For me this would be the BEST OBSERVATION DECK IN THE WHOLE WORLD. Even if china of Dubai have got taller skyscrapers, this Obs Deck would beat everything so Far. I REALLY HOPE IT GETS BUILD. HOPEFULLY IT WILL BE APPROVED BEFORE 2027 OR 2028.
