Gonna look great covered in graffiti
That's an understatement Because of the leaning tower of sf new construction is going to take months if not years
if you are going to does these videos you need to learn how to speak without saying um every four words
If ya don’t like it don’t watch it 🤷♂️
Good job as as usual bro. You scare me man! Your the only person I've ever met in my life who's knowledge and interest in skyscrapers and skylines may be better then me! 😡😩😠
Thanks bro 😂😂
First. I love your channel! I love skyscrapers and since i was young i can see almost any skyline in America and most large international cities and tell you what city it is. So i agree, imo any from 600 to 800 ft is just mhhh..not bad. But not great. I live in Columbus and our tallest is 627, just mhhhh. ..Ok but not THAT exciting. Lol. Sgain really appreciate your channel buddy, you have no idea how up my alley this is and get a little excited when i see a new thumbnail from you. Consider going international if you run out of content brother 😀
Thanks man appreciate the support. I made this channel cuz I always wanted to watch one like this and they just don’t exist. Glad others enjoy it as well
@datavisualisation5600 absolutely!!! When I was in high school, (no Internet yet) just study the list of city's tallest buildings in the almanac for fun, and I love to see the new additions to different city's skylines I already know by heart, especially the really tall buildings(billionaires row, Miami, Austin. Etc) that are really adding to it and built to impress you and knowing the height is essential lol
Seattle's tallest building was the Columbia Bank tower since 1989
They said the height would be 1,600 ft what happen ?
Got lowered not sure why
@datavisualisation5600 when? Because they still saying1600 ft
Lets hope that Now with Donald Trump Real Estate can have a new diamond era for all projects like this, Tower Fifth, etc.
I would say it was just proposed and it was.
A most ugly building
Lets see if Now that Donald Trump has won can make this happen
Another vanity office tower - ugh!
It’ll get built
Tall buildings don't do very well in earthquakes contrary to what structural engineers might say. There is only so much engineers can do short of recommending shorter buildings in an earthquake zone. Its all about when, not if, the next big earthquake strikes. No one should be seriously considering a new tall building in Los Angeles given past history of the area. Its only a question of time before the next 'big one' hits LA with unthinkable results.
Whisper bot
the old bay clay is decomposing making it more and more difficult and expensive to properly anchor the building.
Hope it gets built. I kind of like it too
Um the Chrysler building is the most iconic building in the USA. That style is amazing and repeated everywhere. You cannot by any means cover it up. NEVER!!!!!!!
Nimbyism works in old cities but New York has always been growing in the form of taller and newer buildings. This was the same attitude for many icons that ended up shaping the skyline. Embrace the change that’s out of your control
Would be 63rd tallest in NY and the 25th tallest in Chicago. Looks pretty sweet though.
It is ugly. Why do they keep pumping out all these drab blocks?
MARVELLOUS VIDEO!
3:18 LOOKS ASTONISHING, BEAUTIFUL
GORGEUS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tallest between Chicago and Denver, tallest building between the states of North and South Dakotas Iowa Kansas and Missouri
Please keep doing Miami videos downtown Miami is going through a metamorphosis of changes there are eight Superstalls planned for Miami
Not only subscribing for the content but also that voice is cute af 😭👌🏻
I like the lines. And as much as I love the Chrysler Building this would be a great addition to the skyline
Dozens of new projects starting next year, it'll be a huge year for construction
You did not pronounce that right but that's ok lol. L.A. Skyline in my opinion is nice but you'd think it would be more like Dallas, Houston, Miami, or even Seattle or Austin but it's not terrible. It is nice. Maybe top 15 overall?
Volume please. Hard to hear you. :-)
Another, uninspired, boring building as a whole. At ground level the building is great but that is lost when looking at the building from a difference. Not a horrible building, just typical.
This is an ugly building unfortunately.
Great video broski, maybe video about Warsaw, Poland skyscrapers? They nothing compared to US or Asia but in Europe its a decent skyline
Downtown isn’t close to anything in traffic.
Pronounced Will-Sure not Will-shire
Thanks for the updates! To be honest, I think I like these proportions more, it seem to fit more easily within the city skyline, yet...în the end, it may indeed look even better if taller
As someone from the Pacific Northwest who lived in Chicago, it would be helpful to clearly define what a “super tall” is. I believe it’s defined as 300 meters or more (or 984 feet); while 600 meters or greater would be “mega tall”. Thanks for sharing.
Yes 300 meters is the definition of super tall
It’s mix tower, meaning it will have retail, office, residential and hotel, so the hopes are very good. Plus it’s next to Grand Central, it’s a transportation that connects upstate and all boroughs any business will benefit greatly.
I like your channel man, keep the videos coming, don't be discouraged, your content is actually very good.
Wasn’t it supposed to be affordable housing? This city is so corrupted and rotten, sure it looks nice on the skyline for tourists and skyscraper geeks, but actual people live here wtf?! They say one thing, money gets in front and the 0.01 percent get it their way smh.
I believe there is still affordable housing in this but yeah…
Construction has paused due to contractor disputes
Dang rip
The Hyatt also has a hotel planned for a significant chunk of the building so it definitely has a lot of backing
how many floors?
Thank you❤
when will construction start?
Bro I’m so hyped for these new towers!!! Miami is gonna look so cool! One city I was thinking about is Vancouver and if they will ever develop a super tall tower?
"Fig-er-oh-uh" and "will-shur". I'd recommend editing out the "um"s, since this isn't a livestream. Might as well clean up the audio a little.
Looks magnificant and call it golden gate tower🌇🌉😊
Or Redwood Tower! I’ll admit, I’m not the biggest fan of the architectural style as presented, but the color is growing on me. Much better than the bland clean glass look of so many other skyscrapers. This one is at least a bold departure from the status quo in that sense.
@@pointycrystals yea but look the rustic color is like the golden gate bridge i think the same should be said for this new iconic tower golden gate tower but then thats just me🙂😁
Is this thing gonna be built or what?
Really love this channel. As mentioned on another video - Miami will overtake NYC in buildings, scope and most importantly prestige within 15 years if it continues on this boom! It's pretty here in Miami - sorry New York.
Insane statement to make. Look at manhattan on google earth in comparison to miami. Even if NY never built a skyscraper again it would take miami decades on decades perhaps an entire century to get there.
@@NathanVierke Have you visited Miami lately? I moved from NYC - a dying city - its true!
@@Chris-m6x yeah I was there in August for my bday. Lots of construction all over but their dt is small. I’m from chicago, so really only New York and Toronto has impressed me.
