I must get out soon when the weather is a lot better than it is at the moment
Sounds like a good idea! 👌
Beautiful format! 🖼️
@@MiQBohlin Thank you!😊
Happy new year
Thank you and the same to you! 🎇🎊🪁
looks really great
@@NB_KITES Thank you! 😊
awesome skills 😀great to see you back.
Thank you! 😊
Great to see you’re back on it again 👍🏼
Thank you! 😊
Nice to see a new video! I've been wondering if you were still able to fly, or if your weather had been too nasty to get some flying in. Nice bright colours on your Quad really contrasts well with the greys of an overcast Winter day.
@@sbrown1953 Thanks! 😊 Well, the weather hasn't been too bad, but daylight is scarce here up in my neck of the woods this time of year. ...and a few other things that have been 'stealing' my time away. More on that here: kites.aerialis.com/aerialis-on-pause/
Hey, can the HQ midi still be purchased? Or is they're a current version out? Now?
Sorry no,, I think they're not available anymore... unless you can get your hands on a used one.
Kool vid thks for upload!! 🎉
@@vincente.929 Thank you ☺️
Lovin it!
@@skypirate6983 Thank you 😊
I just got a new SUL from Lam Hoac, designed for short line flying, can't wait to try it at the local beach. :-)
You're in for some big fun. Lam's kites are awesome! 👌
@@aerialiskites Lam's video done yesterday: ruclips.net/video/rxb0rr4lmXU/видео.html
I've been after wind for the past couple of days
@@HarlowKiteFlying I found some ...not much but flyable! 👌
I have one and it’s #2445. Mint like new!
A TRUE classic! 👌🤩
Voice over time! Happy to see a new video. Keep up the good work. Love your video’s
@@FerryvanDorp Thank you! 😊 I'll keep them coming. 👌
Looks great in the slower speed,
Thank you 😊
On really light winds, do you change the position of the blue lines, as on my Quad kites I've only got the one knot coming from the bridal line, what would happen if I put another knot in and move my top line closer to the Kite
I'm not quite sure what knot you're referring to, but I rather tune my lines by moving them 'up' and 'down' on the leader lines on my handles. Hmmmm.... This is kind of difficult to describe but if you check out the video provided in this post, you probably get the picture: kites.aerialis.com/making-leaders-for-your-handles/
Dam, was hoping to see you give A few tips on the line's, l think it could be the reason why my Freilene WindriderII keeps on spinning as in the last video I posted on my RUclips channel.
If you go to this playlist, and start at the bottom of it, there are a bunch of quad kite tutorials. All the basic stuff you need to know and then some more advanced stuff. Worth checking out IMO. 😊 - ruclips.net/p/PLyZ2iBFZuw7U10gnCxXFShyCK4OqPs33e
@@aerialiskites nice one cheers
@@HarlowKiteFlying 👌
A question, I take it all four lines are the same length yes.
Yes, all four lines are exactly the same length. 👌
This is really good 👍
Thank you 😊
That's such a beautiful kite! I also found your gear setup interesting. Definitely about to make one myself!
Yes, a great kite for flying and lifting all kinds of stuff. I also use it to lift my KAP gear from time to time. Works really well!👌
I was worried that something bad happened to your kite, like a stray dog running through you lines, and dragging it down the beach, or P-ing on it.
No, nothing that bad! But not exactly like planned 😉
Fantastic 🎉
@@NB_KITES Thank you! 😊 It was a very nice low wind workout in the beach! 👌
That was such a perfect visit to a beautiful beach, thanks!
@@sbrown1953 Yup! You said it... Perfect! 🤩
Nice slow axels!
@@sadkingbilly Thank you! 😊 Yes, that Zaephay of mine does the most floaty and gracious axels. 👍
@@aerialiskites sorry, my last reply was a bit short even for 4am. Nice kite, beautiful flying and awesome location, well done! I’m thinking of adding a quad kite to my bag, and was randomly checking different types in my bout of insomnia. Sadly the choice seems mostly to be rev, rev or rev…
@@sadkingbilly No worries, but you're right. A lot of Revs out there. But then again, they're not too bad. However, why not check out the Kiteforge website. Their Djinns and Djuices are excellent kites and they come with a somewhat different flavour than the Revs. www.kiteforge.com/
Our local forecast: 20 to 40 mm by this afternoon. I wish there was an Indoor facility nearby.
Perfect conditions for indoor flying then. 😉 Too bad you don't have access to any indoor facilities.
Great shots!
Thank you! 😊
@@aerialiskites Welcome! Great flying too. What kite?
@@MindRiderFPV Thank you. 😊 The kite is (currently) called the A-Super-Ultra-Light-Wind-Kite and it's a light wind team kite created by Anders Matson for us to fly in light wind conditions with the AERIALIS Team Flyers. 👌
@@aerialiskites Great graphics. I got a bunch of videos about the Ultim FX on my channel.
@@MindRiderFPV I'll go over and take a look at them! 👍
Autumn flying is one of my favourites, with the cooler temperatures, vivid colours on the trees. You have such a beautiful compact flying spot there! Uninterrupted breezes right off the water are a kite lover's Heaven! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you! Yes, ater a *very* rainy Saturday the wind blew the rain away and the clouds gave way for the sun and brought a great autumn Sunday, perfect for flying in spectacular colours! 🍁🍁🍁👌 ...and I have a couple of more videos coming up too! 👍
Nice
Thank you! 😊
Wow! I’m glad you made this video!
@@HotPink90sSun Thank you! 😊 It was a pleasure making it too. A great kite flying in pretty much perfect conditions! 👌
Still have mine, it's been in the cupboard for well over 10 years, I think I must get it out again.
Yes, it was a real game changer for me and I must have logged several hundred hours flying my Gem's. I brought one of them together with an Elixir og mine to fly them back to back, but the wind was a bit too much for a good quality comparison. So .... Ill have to wait for better winds and try again. 🙂
As Scott Weider would say... Easy like Sunday morning! :D
@@aerochicc 🙂👌
The thing looks gorgeous!
Yes, it sure does, and after the modifications it flies pretty darn too! 👌
Oh! Those reflections in the tidal pool, WOW!
@@sbrown1953 Yeah, I couldn't leave before I had those shots! 👌
Nice flying! What kite?
Now, that's a good question. I wasn't there (got the video from a friend of mine) so I don't know. But I can ask Marco, the pilot. He probably know 😉
It's a self sewed Vortex by the plan of Christian Derefat
hey Sven, odd question here: what brand are those pants??? I am tempted by the Hover but also the dji neo......hmm....
The pants are by Kayoba Outdoor. ... The Hover works for for me! Now the DJI Neo is upping things a notch or three, but its not foldable as the Hover so it won't fit into your pocket as easy as the Hover. ...and there are two new versions of the Hover, the Air X1 PRO and Air X1 PROMAX hitting the market right now. These ones are really pushing the envelope, but at a price! For me, I will stay with my 'old' Air X1 because, well... it works! 👍
If you left it any longer definitely wet feet!
Yes, but then you just take your shoes off! ruclips.net/video/nzlouiZoCJQ/видео.html
Ooof! Slipping on beach rocks is awful, especially if there are Barnacles on them.Good to hear you escaped serious injury.
Yeah, thankfully no damage done 👌
Be careful on those rocks!
Yes, I'll do my best to be careful when flying on rocks like that. I didn't fall until I was walking off that island...and ended upon my butt in the water! 🤣
Revolution kites are good fun once you master how to fly them. Your arm movements seemed excessive , bu i generally use a longer line set. Good show of how the kite can be controlled.
@@alanchandler254 Yes, they definitely are ... and because of its total speed control, you can fly it in the most incredible places! 👌 I tend to heavily involved my body when flying quads...as well as dual lined kites. I think it will enhance the flying when 'adjusting' for the fluctuations of the wind ... and it's also a good workout that gets my blood pumping! 👍
Did I just see him throwing the Quad!
Yup, you did! Throwing and catching is pretty easy when flying on 10m/33ft lines. - Here's more: ruclips.net/video/hTjyLxuWnjo/видео.html
How low is low on the wind
The wind was between 1 and 2 metres per second or 2 - 4 mph
@@aerialiskites thanks, impressive flying

A pretty cool gadget, don't you think? 👌
Amazing technology!
@@sbrown1953 Yes, definitely! ...and it's adding a new dimension to video content creation 👌
Looks good.Pretty much old kite, but still trick capable.Fine fine❤
I just did the editing and added some music. Marco R is flying while Farid W shot the footage. They both had a great week at the Rømø Kite Festival!👌
An absolutely super nerdy nerd film about how nerdy one can be about nerdity nerdiness 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
Yup! 👌
The smile says it all! The slow motion is SO helpful!
@@aerochicc Yes, the smile is .... what it's all about! 🤩 ...and it's good to hear that you find this video, especially the slo-mo, helpful. 😊
Is this the very same drone you bought two years ago? Then it holds together well👌🏼
Hmmm... I bought the drone (Hover Air X1) about one year ago. Before that I used to fly and film using the DJI Mini, a drone I haven't been using for quite some time. The Mini is definetely a fine drone, but the Hover is much more convenient for my content creation.
@@aerialiskites One year? I thought it was earlier. Anyway, you have used it quite a lot since then I reckon. What is the downside of the X1, in your opinion?
Yes, I have logged quite a few hours with the Hover Air X1, Downsides..... Well, battery capacity could have been better. 11 minutes of fly time sounds a bit too short and in a way it is. But you should note that because it takes just seconds to set up I'd say 95% of battery time is actually flying and filming. And ... 11 minutes of B-roll (mostly) is quite a lot actually. I bought the drone/2 batteries/charging hun combo. Well worth the extra money. Its a bit expensive IMO. Especially now with the new DJI Neo (similar kind of product) out for half the price, give or take. It has no obstacle avoidance system so you might bump into 'stuff' but if you do some planning ahead you're probably to reduce the number of crashes. ...and you should not fly it over water, snow, sand or similar surfaces. The Hover require a bit of texture on the ground for navigation. If you expect a full blown drone you're in for another downside, because the Hover is not a typical drone. Its more like a flying selfie camera pre-programmed for a large handful of 'moves'. So I guess ut comes down to your needs. And currently the Hover Air X1 cover my needs perfectly! ...an upgraded version is about to be released these days, the Hover Air X1 PRO and the Hover Air X1 PRO MAX. These two will really push the envelope and they look VERY interesting indeed, but with a significant cost. So....I guess I'll hang on in there and check out the reviews that will pop up and maybe start saving up the money. But like said, no hurry because my Hover is working like a charm for me. 👌
@@aerialiskites This all sounds very good. Thnx for your opinions and detailed description. It is indeed a good “extra hand” in the selfie department.
Yes, it's definetly useful ... and a lot of fun too!
Great footage & flying skills
Thank you! 😊
Ever have problems with Barnacles on the rocks snagging your lines or sail?
@@sbrown1953 No, not really. We do have quite a lot of them.here in my neck of the woods but I cannot seem to remember having trouble with them when flying. But swimming ...now that's another story 😬
