can someone who watched this anime explain the plot ? I'm not sure if it's worth watching but I'm out of animes , also what genre is this??? btw great work;)
The genre of this film, 5 Centimetres Per Second, is slice of life/romance. The film is divided into 3 separate segments. It's about a guy called Takaki who is going to meet his girlfriend, who he hasn't seen in quite some time and there's another girl who has feelings for him. I don't want to give too much away, but it's essentially about the distance between lovers and what can keep them apart. It's only about an hour long. The director, Makoto Shinkai, likes to tackle this theme in a lot of his films. I highly recommend his other works like Voices of a Distant Star, The Place Promised in Our Early Days, Children Who Chase Lost Voices, The Garden of Words and his most recent work, Your Name, which is his best film in my eyes.
