Ahaha that sounds silly but I think the dynamic of giants can be really interesting, if they can just pull off a quest that's more engaging than World's Zorah. Dalamadur encountered in 4G/4U was much smaller than the one in Rotten Vale-the latter most probably a fully grown one since that's where they all went to die. So we can somewhat speculate a range of sizes for them

@@VGhlIExhZHkgd2hvIEtub3dz Actually the Rotten Vale Dalamadur is probably an ancestor/Ancient relative(古代種) of 4U Dalamadur

​@@beaneatingoni1353 Interestingly, in the Rotten Vale chapter of the MHW book they even showed an image of Dalamadur next to a trivia passage saying the guild doesn't know whether it was a related species or one that grew in size. There's also not just one-at the bottom of the Vale outside Girros nest and iin the acid rivers, we can see many more similar tailbones in varying sizes. The one near Vaal Hazak's nest does seem distinctly different from the Dalamadur we've seen though, that might actually be an ancient relative

I don’t think there was anything directly indicating that, but the giant Beotodus skull in Hoarfrost Reach, along with some gold crown events throughout the series, got me speculating that past monsters might have had abnormal growth linked to the in-world energy. Made a video on that :P

@@beaneatingoni1353 Ah the first on the video yes that was *the* exact Zorah Magdaros from the Great Ravine assignment I was exactly in. Zorah only has one size in game so that's the same Zorah we traversed in all of the quests involving it

@@beaneatingoni1353 It was actually larger than entire maps (;𖦹ㅁ𖦹) so I made a plugin for locking it midair and teleportation for quick navigation. The fun part was that the hitbox scaled with it too, so it almost felt like walking on a smaller moon-though some areas do visually bug out since the game hides certain elements at a distance

I never noticed frame drop on my playthrough, but it did choke a few times on higher settings (mostly shadow-related) like in the video when I engaged the Doshaguma herd in the storm. But I also accidentally ran that whole segment on a HDD and hadn't figured out optimal settings at that time

I'll never defend the suits; I just think that with tens of thousands of collective play hours and fast-paced sharing, we'll likely uncover way more issues in a shorter amount of time. Personally, I'm social distancing from forums and game file spoilers until I finish the game.

It worked on some weapons (using the furious rajang as layered), but not on others for some reason I tested with alatreon's revival and both of them didn't work Then i tested it with kjarr pipe "stream" and only the right mouse button worked Safi's Hellhorn: only worked the left+right mouse

@@elseyr Oh, it might've been oversight on my end where I only made it for the FuRa horn I was using & forgot about layered options. I'm adding a new file to make it global for all horns, with some changes to make it work more natural (♫orange is A2, ♪red is A3 since ♩♫♫♪ is attackL for Fatalis HH, etc). Thanks for the heads up

Yeah, I think there are strong evidence from official source to support this claim! From the World book Nergigante's chapter: "When researchers exposed a spike to nutrients[...] egg cells within it began to divide. For this reason, the Ecological Research Center has proposed that Nergigante may in fact be born from...spikes." In the Elder Recess chapter they also specifically mentioned that Xeno'jiiva attracts Elder Dragons using a pheromone only some creatures can sense. So while it was never explicitly stated whether Nergigante saw Xeno as food, it was undoubtedly one of the many (Zorah included) lured in by Xeno who primarily feasted on the bioenergy.

'twas a good 6-7 year run, even though the online endgame loop devolved into the same handful of quests. I hope to see more narrative-driven details in Wilds, dynamic environmental changes tied to the story-something Monster Hunter could really tap into
