Hijinks on the high seas, Rossini-style. Isabella is in love with Lindoro, who has been unintentionally retained as a valet aboard a cruise ship by Mustafà, who is married to Elvira, but is in love with Isabella. Confused? Good. You’re right where we want you! Climb aboard for the craziest all-inclusive cruise in all of opera, complete with an all-you-can-eat buffet, the ship’s spa, a fop of a ...

When his boat finally sails in, he arrives with his new wife, and Cio-Cio San’s...

#10 - See Connections: All Things Are Related
The hard-working Reed will be missed. BTW, I only count nine Alaska Native Values listed by KC, not ten.
Fantastic! So happy to be part of this amazing production!
Wonderful performance! Bravo! I love Pinafore and Pinzance!
This is wonderful! I was just thinking about you singing this aria.
I should mention why: SRO is doing the musical version of BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY. I was asked how that could be a musical, since it has such a bittersweet ending. I had to explain Viennese operetta: LAND OF SMILES, VIKTORIA UND IHR HUSSAR, etc. and, of course GIUDITTA.
Thanks. This helped me decide that I want to see this opera <3
I love how we know exactly *what* firm conviction they have carried to her hesitating heart. ❤ *We* know. But *they* don't. ^_____^
Honestly this is much cuter than some of the ones that have much more comments. And the daughter is pretty cute too. 😍 They do some good stuff in Anchorage. ^___^
Where's the audio?
The video clips have audio. The first one is at 1:23 minutes in. We had to adhere to copyright restrictions on the length of audio shared so we opted for a combination of photos with short videos interspersed! Thanks for asking, Andrew!
Car 54 Christmas episode adapted this song for Captain Block.
Absolutely fabulous, singing, acting, and dancing. Costume and set beautiful too. Wonderful. Thanks

Great job
C’est franchement très moyen. Voix hésitantes, quelques notes hasardeuses. Bon, on est à Anchorage. A la Scala, ce serait l’émeute!.
Incredible! Such an authentic artist, singer, musician and human being. Thanks for posting!
Brava! How beautiful to see opera returning ♥
Outdated silly singing. The soprano reminds me of my home alarm siren and I would tell her to shut up and let me eat in peace..
And the guy, hahaha. He sings like he came directly from a job as a military command officer.
As always, just divine!
So proud of my cousin Laura. Love you!
Where is she from?
Zaide is from Anchorage! She sings with us & with many other organizations in our community! We're so blessed to have such amazing local talent in Anchorage!
@@AnchorageOpera Absolutely, great voice, I’m glad I found her.
That was a strange setting to say the least. Impressive singing and some emblematic good songs.
Hi Marlen! The Anchorage Museum regularly features live music in their elevator for First Friday! We were so thrilled to be asked perform in this fun series in Feb 2020 (the month we presented the Alaska premiere of Frida at the PAC...our last show before the pandemic hit & forced us to cancel the rest of our season) Nice to look back on happier days when we could all cram together in an elevator & enjoy incredible singing!
@@AnchorageOpera oh thanks, I was not aware of that, still unusual but that elevator is huuuge, so I can see how becomes so accommodating, like a little music hall. Well, if I had been there, I would have been stuck going up and down ☺️. I saw in another video that she also performed at Tim’s house, so that was reassuring, we missed the Frida events because we were out of town, and yes, we came back to face a drastic change of reality.
I was not aware that a member of my congregation was actually “El charro cantor de Alaska”. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Loved this month's article about you in Opera News! Congratulations!!!!

This is so impressive!! Bravo!
I wish I was able to see this perform. I admire Cedar Cussins lighting designs.
Wow, wish I had been there.
It was such an honor to have the opportunity to speak at the Opera 'As One'. Thank you to the cast and staff for welcoming us and allowing us to have such an incredible experience. Liz and I thoroughly enjoyed 'As One', and I am so excited to see that our stories were recorded.
thanks clay I worked hard on the song but I was only well young so it sounded ok.
