Obviously, I still very much want one. But that Chrome Boy is just... wow. It's so freaking gawdy; even more so than my 1978 25/50 Anniversary Les Paul. But it works. It's freaking gorgeous! And we all know how great a good Ibanez plays and sounds.

I always thought solid state amp heads were really fun to use with graphic EQ in the front end, it gives it the illusion of being boosted with a tube screamer with little to no coloration of the tone coming from your amp. It genuinely seems like you could crank the gain all the way to 10 with an EQ in front and get the perfect tonal blend of tight saturation and natural amp distortion. It’s so sick, dude.

LTD's are amazing guitars for their price point. Especially if you have the funds to upgrade the pickups, if yours comes with the lower end ones. Some LTD's also come with cheaper fret material but they'll get a few great years of use out before a proper refretting is needed. KUIU marked up this guitar by $800-1000, and the ESP version by nearly double ...

I just got one of these; discovered that I miss a neck pickup and tone control. But it plays quite nice! The greater variety of tone with addition of a neck pickup and tone control is an option on some of these I think.
